So basically what the title says... What are your wishes for season 12?

My wishlist :

I want one last meaningful Bangel scene
Buffy and Faith kicking ass together
Angel and Dawn interacting together again
A meaningful moment between Buffy, Willow and Xander
An open ending, nothing that feels perfectly tied up
Angel having some sort of victory over Wolfram & Hart. It doesn't have to be a final one, just a win!
Buffy speak

Nice thread! I would like

A proper and final death for someone
Angel and Spike fighting together once
A cameo from a long forgotten character
Angel to end up alone (I think that's best for his character)
A Gunn sighting
A somewhat intimate Buffy/ Spike scene
And then everything Mylie said:

But not fit his AtS character. Angel wants friends/family/connection. It's about time the story goes against the eternal punishment because that would be shockingly new. Give Angel everything he wants and Spike ends up with nothing, revolutionary. Which is why it won't happen. But ultimately it doesn't matter because...

I wish for everybody to die, in every reality. So that this poor, dead horse (aka the franchise) can finally stop being beaten.

Oh oops! Romantically. He can have friends. Lol. I just want to see the end of Angel and Illyria and not trying anybody new either.

But ... but 🙁Angel should be loved too. Why don’t you want him to have someone?

Angel should end up with Connor, not alone. He's been away from Connor long enough; let them both go off demon-hunting together.

Also:
Buffy and Faith fighting together; Faith making some meaningful gesture of amends; Buffy giving Faith some nice pep in return.
Grown-up Giles being a bit crusty/stuffy/English but also loving and supportive of Buffy.
Buffy realizing- or being told by somebody- that she's been kind of a crappy person since the end of Twilight.
Find out what Gunn and Connor and the rest of A.I have been up to, have them interact with the rest of the characters and do cool stuff in the finale.
Andrew's dramatic and drawn out death.
Wood's pointless and kinda funny death.
If we're not going to get the end of Spuffy then can we at least get something interesting or epic to read, rather than what we're getting...

Buffy, Xander and Willow must survive and get happy epilogues. I'd love a girlfriend for Willow.

Harmony was in the pilot and in Not Fade Away. She should be here, too.

It would be nice to get Drusilla back.

Some sense of closure. Not just one last showdown.

I love Angel, not trying to make him unhappy, but he is at his best when he has friends and is not focusing on anything romantic. I think relationships that are less commitment like Nina are his only option, but even she almost ruined his mission. He just feels very deeply and ends up losing more than he had. He doesn't need women.

I feel like you've got a bit of contradiction there.

And how did Nina almost ruin his mission?😕
She’s didn’t ruin it. She almost did. It wasn’t anything she did, but just being with her made Angel have to stop his charade temporarily to send her away. He could have been discovered, she could have told someone, etc. It just ended up being an extra burden.
And I don’t think I am contradicting myself. I believe he doesn’t need women. He might not see that. I was just saying how he feels, and then how I think he should feel because of that.

I believe that would be a terrible final message for the series/character. It was bad enough that pretty much every prominent female character was killed off on the show but to have Angel feel that he doesn't 'need' women when some of the most important and formative experiences of his life were with women would be a horribly regressive way to end AtS from a gender relations/gender politics standpoint.

Then again, the comics have been somehwhat regressive since they started - definitely on the Angel side - so I guess that would be nothing new.

Angel might not need romance, but Cordelia and Faith have both been his friend and ally when he was at his worst- he needed them for a good reason. Angel is not good on his own, he needs people to keep him grounded and focused.

Yes. Totally with you here. Women was synecdoche for romance in my point

Please stop twisting what I was saying🙁
“He doesn’t need women” had nothing to do with the gender relations. I don’t think he needs anyone romantically. That’s all I’m saying. I am not saying that he shouldn’t have women in his life or he should reject all women despite everything they’ve done for him. I would never say that, nor do I want that under any circumstances.

Sorry I didn't mean to give the impression I was trying to twist your words - it's just the simplicity of 'he doesn't need women' sounded sort of all-encompassing to me. My mistake - I understand your point on the romance part.

Okay. We can agree to disagree then, as long as we understand each other
If I was Angel, I might come to the conclusion that things are simpler without women. AtS hits you over the head with the idea that women ruin your life and make homosocial relationships impossible.

I would like to see Buffy and Faith put together in some really tense situation where they have to totally trust and depend on each other to survive (maybe stranded together in a hell dimension for a several issue arc) They don't have to come out of it as lovers or soul mates, but I've always wanted them to be close friends.

I would like to see either Cordy or Nina come back to be with Angel. Again, they don't have to actually be lovers or soul mates, but Angel seems to work best when he has that kind of a relationship. Besides, a champion needs a lady, and Buffy's currently spoken for.

I would like to actually finally meet the Immortal and find out what all the bad feelings between him and Angel are all about. It's been my obsession ever since I first saw "The Girl in question."

More interconnection between the two titles, with a final battle "Avengers Assemble" type arc bringing all of the characters in both titles together to take out the Big Bad.

Haven't read Season 11 yet so I don't really know what I want but I definitely would like Buffy & Faith to finally be on legitimately good terms. After all they've been through, it would be nice for them to come full circle.

I second white avenger- why has the Immortal not been properly introduced in 4 seasons of comics? (and one televised season)
And the avengers assemble type arc bringing all the characters in both titles together which I think is going to happen if the cover art is accurate. This would be a proper ending.

The baby... I don't know what to think about that. I'd like it to be Xander & Dawns more than Buffy's.

I want Buffy to ride off into the sunset on a white horse with Spike. Cliche? It'd still make me happy.

Angel... needs to have his curse lifted so he can finally just stop brooding and be happy as well... without Buffy. He needs to be happy on his own. I think in Season 11 he's "with" Illyria?? I don't like that at all. Why isn't he with Nina if anyone?

Giles needs to find Olivia.

Drusilla needs to kill Harmony. Preferably on live t.v. or Harmony's facebook live stream or something.

Okay and I want Willow to end up Tara somehow. I know it may cheapen her death but what if somehow she was reincarnated, not resurrected.. like, what if that baby on the cover is Tara reincarnated, and they send her through a portal ala Connor (but not a hell dimension portal) and she ages fast so she can come back and be with Willow. Or maybe with the time travel involved in S12, timeline's get mixed up somehow and one result is new Tara being grown or old Tara being alive again? I know I'm reaching and this all is wicked convoluted but I would really love Willow & Tara to end up together somehow. I don't think it would necessarily negate the hell Willow went through after Tara died but could show a light at the end of the tunnel for true love/soulmates who the universe will always bring back together somehow.
