I think Cordelia is going to be the one who has to get Angel out of the water. She is the only one who can do it right? She is an angel now so she will have the power. Angel can't get out himself and Fred and Gunn can't do it themselves they don't even know wherre everybody is.
The powers that be will send Cordelia back to Angel because they realise that Angel needs Cordelia to help him on his journey.
At least that's what I hope.
Connor will find out the truth and will help his father to return and fight at his side. ( I really hope so, he is sooo cute ).

The finale airs down here on thursday, and I cant wait for it. But I am probably looking more forward to Angel season 4 than I was Buffy season 4.

i think that cordy will be signed for next season it can't just be gunn and fred, i will miss cordy to much if she leaves; its no fun without her 🙁 i hope that connor finds out the truth and kills justine why did she blame it on angel, holtz told her to do it just because she can't handle it that shes killed nearly two humans bi*ch!

If Connor finds out that Justine killed Holtz -- even at his own request -- I doubt he would have any scruples about killing her. But I don't know how it would affect his feelings towards Angel; I still think they would be ambivalent at best (especially given that Connor's still going through darkest adolescence).
What I'm wondering is whether they'll play on Justine being jealous of Connor's close relationship with Holtz (even now that he's dead). Justine effectively *belonged* to Holtz, and while he was fond of her and trusted her, more than anything she was just useful to him. And he loved Connor.
(Interestingly, in the next-to-last episode of Season 3, *before* Holtz returns from the hell dimension, she does seem to approach expressing remorse for cutting Wesley's throat to Fred and Gunn: "I backed the wrong man.")

wow what a cliffhanger that was so unfair leaving uds hanging like that!!! i too think that cordy will ahve to come back down from heaven but i think it will be of her own decision because of her love for angel! what i'm wondering thoogh is will she still be a demon? or will the powers strip her?

I too agree that Cordy will come back to this plane because of her feelings for Angel, but I don't think she's going to be the one who "saves" him.
What if Angel's steel prison gets caught up in a fishing net and after freeing himself, has to find his way back to L.A.? And his "family"???

it could happen; catch him in a fishing net and come back. Maybe anyway lol. I think that cordelia will come back because Charisma is signed for next season so she'll be back, well hopefully any way.

i think they made cordy have all those powers as a way to make cordy and angel compatible with each other there both now warroirs of good and maybe if he makes love with cordy he won't lose his soul because she's not human anymore (i know about the curse is about true love but i'm trying to get a new angle on it if you know what i mean)

Actually, I think Gunn and Fred actually saw her suck the demon into some sort of magic urn that returned him to a non-corporeal state. (Not sure about Angel; the demon was on top of him trying to stake him at the time.) She said that Holtz had told her what the urn was for.
But, yes, as far as AI is concerned, Justine is just Holtz's (ex-)chief minion. They don't know about her connection with Connor, or with Angel's disappearance, via Holtz's last act of vengeance.
