Dvd Release Date!

I just found this today on tvshowsondvd.com:

Firefly: The Complete Series and Buffy: Season 5 all on December 9th
 
That's actually kind of early. I'm dying here because I have to buy Angel Season 2 on September 2nd, and I still have to get Dark Angel Season 1, and Dawson's Creek Season 1. Thanks for the dates though!
 
YEah, that's cool and all but is there any other sort of news about the DVD like Box art and which episodes get commentary and the featurrettes. Season 5 is like the best of all the seasons, so I'm very excited about the DVD.
 
on Amazon.com they only are listing the release date as December 9th.

I'm antsy to see what the box art is going to be... probably something with Dawn and "the Gift". who knows.
 
The cover will most likely be made using the promo shots from Season 5. I just pray that it looks better than the Season 4 box set, Ewww!

Well, after receiving a ton of email to the effect of "Where did Buffy Season 5 go?!?" I thought I'd better post a news item. Amazon.com seems to be jumping the gun on Fox product these days, and they've done it again with this release. They post something, take a bunch of orders, then Fox probably calls them and they pull the orders and cause mass confusion. Way to go Amazon! The fact that Amazon has pulled the product off their website means nothing, and we expect the set to be released when it's supposed to be released. Don't like the antics of an etailer cause you stress. (Since there's no place to buy the set, we pulled it from our site). Once it goes back on sale we'll post it again.
 
Yes but us poor Canadians and Americans have to wait for the region 1 Buffy dvds. 🙁
 
yeah, i also so that s6 and s5 is out there on dvd in the uk.. got me confused. i went on amazon.com then to the co.uk site....
i'm glad i have to buy code2😀 😉
 
I have got S6 off ebay (waitin for it to arrive) but I'll ask for R1 S5 for xmas because my DVD player is multi-region (I got S3 on R1) and its about half the price!
 
I love the coverart, its Buffy in the middle, Spike to her left and Dawn to her right, my 3 fave characters. Lots of featurettes too and outtakes
 
God! I wouldnt be able to wait for Season 5! I love it too much! 😉
