I don't know if anybody caught this, but midway through the season they began counting down to the finale by referring to almost every season finale (save for season 6). Each time the reference got bigger. Here's what I mean:
"First Date"- Featured Vampire from the Gift.
"Storyteller"-The Cheeseman from Restless appears in Andrews dream very briefly.
"Dirty Girls" Shots from Graduation Day part 1 and Andrew talks about Faith killing a Vulcan, later to be corrected and told she killed a vulcanologist.
"Touched"- People drilling into a rock to uncover a very powerful item. Features a weapon in the rock that only "a chosen one" can pull out. Basically a lot of Becoming themes in this one.
"Chosen"- Helmouth, Hellmouth, Hellmouth. That was a focal point in Prophecy girl and also in this one.
