is it me or is season 7 really good at making me/us jump?! i have jumped out of my skin at least once every epi so far this season. there was an unfortunate '!JuMp!' involving a boiling hot drink, which resulted in a burnt leg! it was in 'Sleeper' when Spike grabs Anyas wrist. 'Lessons'... the basket ball at the locker. and when dawn got grabed round the neck..."wherte did they go?...'!AgH!' they were two others which shocked me bad. i gotta think about the rest. i feel so stupid when it happens but i love it! i cant help but laugh at my self.
 
to me, that's the mark of a great show. i love suprises, and i love to be shocked. i couldnt believe when the watchers council was blown up! that's why i'm gonna miss this show......
 
when i say shock i mean ShOcK! as in makes you jump out of your skin... not litraly though! not as in story lines.
 
i agree with Daniel
I rarely get very shocked with tv scares because i'm a horror movie fan, so i'm kinda used to the music goes loud and scary face appears rutine, mostly because you normally see it coming... but the pencil thing, there's NO WAY someone can claim to have seen that coming...
 
true! i was laughing in fits when Dawn was wiggling on the floor.
and when the Toruk-Han (sp?) hit spike round the face in 'Bring On The Night' twice in a row!!! i have it soooo loud you could here a character wisper when your even down stairs!
 
Definitely at least once an episode. I'm a fraidy cat! I practically had nightmare about Conversations with Dead People cuz that was freaky!
 
what about when the first slayer jumped Buffy in 'Get It Done'!!! boi that was.........................................::disturb:.................
 
I jump occasionly!!! I have more this season than ever I think!!!
There have been a number of shocking moments!!!

That was a good one, and there were a couple of more in that same episode.

My biggest "jump", though, was Giles' near-decapitation.
 
Definitely my biggest jump was in "Conversations With Dead People" when Dawn is sitting on the floor facing away from the couch and we see Joyce's body on it for like a second. Then also the scenes in that episode where the demon thingy is strangling Joyce and she's got white eyes... FREAKY! ::disturb:
 
I really jumped when the axe swung towards Giles head in Sleeper! I hated the following 2 weeks, having to wait to see what happened!
