Dushku Back On Buffy, Angel

It's official: Eliza Dushku has signed to reprise the role of evil slayer Faith in five episodes of UPN's Buffy the Vampire Slayer and three episodes of The WB's Angel next season, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The actress' busy film schedule has kept her away from the Buffy franchise, but she has committed to appear in the final five episodes of Buffy in its upcoming seventh season, the trade paper reported.

Earlier this summer, Buffy creator Joss Whedon had told SCI FI Wire that he was talking with Dushku about coming back to the two shows. Dushku first appeared on Buffy from 1998-2000 and guest-starred on Angel in its first few seasons.

Buffy returns to Tuesdays at 8 p.m. PT/ET on Sept. 24; Angel begins its fourth season in a new Sunday 9 p.m. timeslot Oct. 6.

Nope. Everything I've read just says she's back for sure.

shes coming back for the last 5 eps of buffy and the last 3 eps of angel...and they've already been shot...😀 thats what i've heard...

That early? Woa that was fast...Darn now its gonna kill me knowing that those episodes are filmed and that we cant see them till May!

Off course she should accept ... I think most of hers fans come from B/A, and it's pretty important to have those. The more fans you have the higher your changes are to get into good roles, right?

Good point, (her movies arent that great)I guess she'll probably take that into consideration.

Well her movies aren't really succesfull, that something different ... "Bring it on" and "Jay and Silent Bob, strike back" were both very fun to watch, I saw both of them 3 times and I own 'em so I guess I'll watch 'em again sometime. It's really to bad she isn't such a big hit, I can't imagine why !

Yeah, Bring it On and JASB were pretty good but I really hated Soul Survivors..Havent seen City by the sea, but heard she was great in it. I guess that will put her more in the spotlight!

City By The Sea was great. Both her and James Franco were excellent in them.

I hope it'll be released in Theathers here in Europe too, I do to for Soul Survivors, because wether it's bad or good, I wanna see it.

I don't think she would accept a role as a replacement for buffy, she has been turning down return spots for years now, she is really focussed on her movie career i think.
