Hi

I was remembering a few episodes of season 7 and remembered that it was the season with the most mystery and surprises. I still do not understand how the first can manifest itself as Buffy, since she is alive (but that is not the point of my post).

Any one else really enjoyed the last season of Buffy. The whole season there was ONE mission. Destroy The First. The finale was superb and the cast was formidable.

What do you guys think ?

Season 7 was great...but I think season 2 was the best overall.

Oh, and the reason The First could be Buffy was because Buffy died...twice infact...so in a way she's "dead" lol...a walking corpse!

The First was a great evil...I was hoping I see it again after season 3's Amends...hated Caleb with a firey vengance!

I agree, season 2 was the best overall. The story lines and content of the writing was just awesome. I even think season 3 was better then season 7. Season 7 was still great though, but I was really bumbed we only got only a 1 hour series fanalie. I really felt cheated with that.

absolutley loved that season! almost every episode
in every season are episodes i love and i episodes that are just ok....but this season had a lot of episodes i loved

so ....i love this season lol :: inlove

The first half of Season 7 is my favourite Buffy Season ever. The second half however, I rate down there with Buffy season 4 at the bottom of my list.

In fact, if I only consider the first half of Season 7, I can almost rate it up there with Angel Season 5, at the top of my personal little ratings card.

When I put the 2 halves together, and rate it as a single Season, I rate it 3rd amongst Buffy Seasons, 5th amongst Angel or Buffy Seasons.

That's my personal opinion anyway.

Season 7 has some of the best episodes in it, such as CWDP, but I didn't like the overall story and Character arcs. An opinion that i share with a number of people is that the writer's weren't really working together on the arc. Plot points would be ignored (the weakness in the slayer line) or concluded in a weak manner (Is Giles the First?) and the character's attitudes would change to fit the story. And The First turned into a really crap villain really, after such a promising start.

That's why it's down with season 4 in grade.
