All I understand is that Spike's got a soul and he came home. Anya is being a vengence bitch again, Dawn goes to Sunnydale High and Buffy works there as a guidance counciller, Xander is still a builder, Willow came home but I don't get this whole thing withe the last 2 episodes... Converstaions with dead people and Sleeper... What does it all mean and how does this Cassie Newton kid come into it!
I am majorly confused. And also, why can Spike bite people and what's this whole new evil thing (An international company who kills slayers...) HHEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLPPPPPPPPP!!!!!!!!!!

It all has to do with this Season's big bad, the First Evil! (remember 3.10 "Amends") ... He can morph into any dead person/being. He visited Spike, Willow and persumably Dawn, he he uses the same tactics as Spike and Adam in 4.20 "the Yoko Factor". We don't know who is killing the Slayers-in-Training, may have something to do with the First Evil. Cassie Newton was the girl that died in "Help". And as for Spike, we don't know yet, but his chip may be gone or malfuctioning.
So I take it that, The First Evil has come back fighting and is visiting everyone making them think about the Hellmouth reopening and loads of trouble coming.
Can you answer this aswell... At the beginning of 7.01 Lessons, someone is running away from a hooded figure. This also happens in 7.02 Beneath You. Has this got something to do with it because it obviosly has nothing to do with the episode.
It also seems as though people are trying to warn the Scoobies but they don't know what's going on. People keep sying "From Beneath You, It devours" Has that got something to do with the fact that the First Evil is coming again.

Yes, possibly ... it could also have to do with the Hellmouth reopening, or with the Big Bad of Angel Season 4. The girls that were killed, were all Slayers-in-Training, we don't know yet, why they were killed, but the upcoming episode will go deeper into the story of the Slayers-in-Training!

as far as i know, slayers in training are girls who will become the slayer, when the current slayer die... i don't think they have been mentioned before but it makes sense with kendra, she said her parents gave her to her watcher when she was a kid but she only had like six months being THE slayer
