Season 8 art?

I was just wondering if anybody is doing Season 8 banners, fanvids, or other art? I haven't seen any, and I was wondering why. There's some great art in there, and funny dialogue.

I've seen a few season 8 art, I think its just because it's not the actors so its not the same. And also a lot of people don't like the comics and wouldn't bother using them in art. Only people who would are people who like the storyline.

Well, that's too bad. Because even if someone doesn't like all the storylines, there is some great dialogue and images. I guess I'm chalking it up to the fact that they're just not read by most Buffy fans. How easy/hard is it to access the panels/images in order to make fanart? (I know nothing about that stuff)

As xfivebyfive said - I can't stand the storyline. I am surprised that there isn't more Season 8 artwork around the place. I guess there isn't so much you can go with comic art when it comes to photoshopping...

I don't make season 8 art for two reasons:

-I hate the comics.
-It's actually really difficult to make art using comic/cartoon art. There's not much you can do beyond colourisation and/or textures.

I've made about 5 s8 banners. But they were random as frack. I think the only one I ended up posting was the Tillow one from the Willow one shot. I hate the s8 storyline, but I think i'm going to keep making those banners because for me, they are easier to make than the others. Blending is soooo much easier.

I made some Season 8 artwork a while back; I've made a few banners and a couple of wallpapers. I don't hate the comics, by any means, but like Amy said, it's REALLY difficult to do anything with comic book art. You can't manip it, and you can add a little texture or change the coloring, but that's about it.
