(this has probably been brought up 100's of times)

So there's defo not going to be a Season 8 is there? Is it because Sarah does'nt want to play Buffy anymore? Because i heard that there might be a season 8 but it would not include her... they might base it on Faith?? or Dawn as a slayer...I suppose a season 8 could work as Giles said theres another 'Hellmouth'.... But i just don't think it would be the same without Sarah... i doubt there is any chance of a season 8 now... there too much time past since season 7? :vamp2:

On Sarah, she's made some conflicting comments, so it's a matter of interpretation. My interpretation is she has no interest in doing anything Buffy related.

While promoting The Grudge she made a comment which might present a germ of hope if you're hopelessly hopeful. At the time she had to reconnect with the genre audience, even though she'd pretty much neglected us all up to that point. She said something like if Joss sent her a script, and it was great she'd consider it. To observers of how Joss works, that comment is kind of like slapping him in the face. He appears to contact the actors before he writes the script to assess their interest. He says he won't do anything without the original actors.

The last known word from David Boreanaz was he'd only be interested in an Angel movie.

James Marsters said he's interested, but only if it happens before he becomes too old to play the part. Amy Acker, and other supporting character actors have expressed an "anytime, any place" attitude. Eliza Dushku expresses interest if schedules don't conflict. Anthony Steward Head always seems hopeful for a Ripper series, but it just never happens.

im looking forward to that buffy comic.. im not a comic person, but i will be if it involved buffy and/or angel. I would also love to see an Angel movie, although i dont know how they'd explain how they happened to escape that mess they left the show off with.

Id would most enjoy the Ripper series. that would be pretty much amazing

i read somewhere that sarah michelle gellar has a bad temper and that most of the BTVS people didn't want to work with her anymore. i guess i read that in msn groups... i dont know if it's true.. but i couldnt believe it.

Well, anytime they had events where the audience would ask the actors questions and what not while the show was still going (i saw a couple of them in the special features) sarah was never one of the actors, I always thought that was weird, since she's the main character. Maybe she grew old with the series and wanted something different. I would still watch a series even if it didn't have her in it, because to tell you the truth, she was never my favorite to begin with. i like AtS better than BtVS.

Yam! : Did you ever regret quit with Buffy?
SMG : (sigh) You can belive me, it was a very difficult decision. I wanted to quit as long as the show was successful and not after the interest decreased. They say you have to stop on the top. That's what I did. Also I think, that Buffys story is over.

Yam! : There were a lot of rumors, that you would come back to the final of "Angel"...
SMG : I know. The producer asked me to, but during this time I did a film in Tokio and couldn't be there in time. I had this kind of stress with the first Scooby Doo because we filmed in Australia. At that time I did Buffy, too. Therefore I had to commute between Australia and America all the time, which was a hell of exausting. An other reason for my rejection: I didn't wanna steal the screentime from an "Angel"-character. We had a lot of criticism for the final of Buffy from the fans, because of the short screentime of their favorite characters. But about Angel: It's a pity that the show ends. It started after Buffy and therefore was a long time in its shadow. Only a few years ago they really established.

Yam! : Will you do a Buffy movie?
SMG : Nope. Buffy is not like e.g. "The X-Factor". They have always new cases to solve.

Hope that is of some interest.

Hmmm, I don't like how she says their's no more stories to tell. I'm sorry but she is the actress not the writer, It's not her job to think up the future storylines. And there clearly must be more stories if Joss plans to bring out a season 8 20 (?) issue comic book!
Also I belive she was free do do the last episode of Angel but they didn't want her, she was asked back for The Girl in Question - isn't that correct?

wanted to add some things that her cast mates have said about her...to show she is sweet

Big Hit: One million people would murder me if I didn't ask, what's it like kissing Sarah?
James Marsters: If I answer that truthfully, Freddie Prinze Jnr will kick my ass! With a baseball bat... and he would have good reason to do so.
Big Hit: Freddie's not like that!
James Marsters: What?! If I was dating Sarah, I would be like that. God! Sarah is an absolute dream. A lead of a TV series has the power to make the set a nightmare or heaven. Sarah has chosen to use her powers to make it heaven. She's always on time. She always knows her lines. She's always wonderful to work with. She's always fresh. She's always jovial. You know, nobody really wants to push her around but other than that she's a dream. Truthfully. And kissing her was no chore!

"She is so cool. She's the best. On the set, if you don't have a director's chair with your name on it you end up sitting on the floor and being in everyone's way, which just causes more stress. Neither Juliet nor I had chairs. Sarah finally went up to the producers and said, 'Look, these guys have done seven episodes so far, they are going to be in it until the end of the season, can we get them some chairs? I'll pay for them.' I thought that was so classy. She's very intelligent, very strong, and very articulate. Basically, she makes 22 one-hour movies a year and she always knows her lines. She's in almost every shot. I can't say enough about her. I like her a lot as a person and as a co-worker. To some people she has a bit of a boundary because she's a big star and people will take from her as much as she's willing to give, so she protects herself because she needs to."

."Sarah is so good. She's surprisingly good. You don't think so, because she's real pretty," Marsters said. "The two things I like about Sarah are her acting and also the way she uses her power on the set. She uses her power to make sure everybody is working and not screwing around. She's always on time. She always knows her lines better than anybody else. She never misses work. She is always there for your off-camera stuff. She is a pro down to her last fiber. She had been mistreated before she was on 'Buffy.' She has had jobs where, maybe, the lead actor was not so nice to her. I'm not going to name names, but we all know what we're talking about."

Amber Benson:

"She's super nice and super professional"

''Sarah, by the way, is wonderful. I am such a huge fan of Sarah Michelle Gellar. She's just got an amazing heart. If there's a problem, she will be there. Three in the morning-she'll be there. It's kind of frightening. She's kind of Buffy-like. Going through that whole thing of losing this person-she was at the hospital. She and Freddie [Prinze Jr., her boyfriend] were at the memorial. They were so wonderful. She felt the same way I did.''

"I've known Sarah for quite a few years, she's great, the ultimate professional, extremely talented, and a lot of fun to be around. A lot of fun on the set, and very caring too. She can tell you the best places to go shopping, the best places to get whatever you need." "“Julie Benz

"I love working with her- she is really talented, always prepared and a total veteran! We work well together, we have great chemistry- it's like our own family, we are very close!""”Charisma Carpenter

"Sarah's very smart when it comes to showbusiness. She knows everybody in Hollywood and what they're working on. We're all amazed at how much information she can obtain!""”Alyson Hannigan

I dont really think anyone has bad things to say about her...i got this from a site..so thanks to smg-pix.com

I do think she sounds nice and sweet and all. And she is an amazing actress, I don't think anyone could question that.

But I really dislike the fact that she says she thinks Buffy has no more stories to tell, it's insulting to the writers to say they can't think of any more good storylines! Like no one on the writing staff would turn around and say, "Yay we ended the show cuz Sarah's acting was getting stale" - Even if it were true (Which it's not) they wouldn't say it. But that's what she's said about them!
