It just dawned on me.

I've known for months there's gonna be no season 8 of Buffy, and i've only just realised that i'll never ever be able to discuss what happened in the new Buffy episode, because there's not going to be one.

Has anybody else thought about it like this?
 
I've also never thought about this before.
Im actually quite, like, upset now!

I never had thought about it. No more spoilers. No more new photos. No more "Next week on Buffy". I'm really depressed now.
 
Depressing isn't it?

Never againg are we going to see Sunnydale, or the Magic Box, or Buffy saving the world from the apocalypse. . .
 
this is awful!!! We'll never be able to come on after watching an all new epsidoe and discuss it!! , well atleast theres still angel...
 
I'm actually a little glad. I mean I might actually start doing homework on Tuesday nights. But seriously, I think as viewers we would be too dissapointed with the story lines. I mean where could they really go with all that has happened. In the recent Buffy magazine, they interview Marti Noxon, and well just read...

Buffy Magazine: What might season 8 have explored if there had been one? Obviously you had to be ready to some degree for the possibility?
MN: I think we were going to focus on laundry, sorting laundry, how confusing that can be, whether or not to dry clean. I think we were going to explore some of those themes!

BM: And more seriously?
MN: That's it buddy. That is why we wrapped up.

I think she had a point... I mean why not go out with a bang, and not drag on and on.
 
i can think of several things for seaon 8....

Buffy starts to live a normal life for like 7 episodes BANG ... episode 8 and guess who hits town, the vampire she could never kill... SPIKE!!! Now he is all big and bad!!! this could have bneen good!
 
I dont know it wont really dawn on me till Jan (when the new series would of started over here) that there is to be no Buffy.
 
I read the Buffy Mag and i do kinda agree with what was said.

Can't wait for the new season of Angel, woohoo, but my Sky viewing is gonna be messed up no Buffy then Angel, just Angel 🙁

I'd like to see some BtVS movies. I read in an online interview on slayage.com about a month ago with Stewart Head and Alyssa Hannagin that the cast and Wheaton have talked about possibly making a series of movies. The cast, especially Alyssa Hannagin, said that they would love to keep the legacy of Buffy alive, if only for just a few more years. And though Hannagin wants to start doing comedy, and possibly have her own comedy show, she said she wouldn't hesitate for a moment to join back with the crew even if it were to do a whole new series. Hannagin feels that she has gotten enoughe closure for her character Willow and she would like to have her own show centered around Willow and eventually what she becomes. So we might see more of Buffy, and more importantly Willow.
 
I though about it, but there's still lots of rumors to discuss as to what is going to happen next, will they make Ripper, what's going to happen with the animated series, will there be a spin-off, what kind of spin-off ... and offcourse there's Angel.
 
Well as you all probely know, Spike crosses over to Angel so that is good (gonna have to pay more attention to what goes on there!) and I heard (in a buffy magaizine) that Sarah Michelle Geller and Alyson Hannigan is thinking of making a few guest appearences o Angel. I really wish that buffy started a few years later because around season 1-3 I never watched it(wasen't aloud) so then I coulda seen more episode. But they aren't doing any re-runs here in Australia 🙁
 
I can't wait to see guest appearances on Angel, and i wanna know how Spike comes back.

I so want spin off series, but movies, now that would be cool, i think breaking box office records wouldn't be a problem.
 
Willow is on Angel tonight! This is the one I missed cause of work and the VCR messed up and didn't record. I'm gonna record it tonight.
 
i know this is all so SAD.. i'm glad i haven't seen season 6 or 7 or even the whole season 5... then i have something to look forward to.. but it's sad that's over!!🙁
