Season 9 Wish List

I don't care how screwed up the 'verse becomes. As long as Dawn dies, all is forgiven.

Okay, I understand that all the Faith Worshipers won't like this...

I want Faith gone from the series. I find her so boring. I'm sick of all the bit players having time spent on them. All I want is the core four. To much time has been wasted on people like Dawn and Faith and Kennedy. So over it.

I seriously wish S9 would be a lot more humble. Epic battles aren't my thing. Character moments are more interesting. I've really enjoyed the Buffy/Willow stuff this season and I wish we can follow that story in S9. I wish there will be more character interactions like Xander/Spike, Spike/Dawn, Xander/Willow -S8 didn't have any special Xander/Willow moment, such a shame- Angel/anyone, Faith/Xander and so on. Mix the characters together and shake them please.

No more possession stories!!!! Especially for Angel, we've had enough of it!

Now, I don't mind little temporary posessions (like After Life), but I'm talking about the ones that have turned some of our favorite characters into the Big Bad (funny how the ATS s4 Cordy arc & s8's Twangel arc are probably equally hated LOL).

And I want the core fang gang to be reunited... Cordy, Fred, Wesley and Gunn are friends and family for Angel. With Connor, of course.

I hope s8 has not completely ruined the friendship and understanding between Faith and Angel (too many things s8 has ruined... and character... DAMNED s8!

And may I add I want Buffy and Angel not to be together? I mean , in the same comics. Until the writers learn to treat them as equals and not revert Angel in Buffy's lapdog. Ruining him in the process.
 
Oz to come back. Considering Joss likes breaking up happy establishments, you know Oz's family isn't going to be spared, especially now that he's had a small moment in season 8.

Then him and Willow can get back together.
 
I want Angel gone for a while. He needs to sort himself out this time, no Buffy holding his hand, no Cordy setting him on a path of good. He needs to do it alone, try and be a decent man, if he can't - then he can go sunbathing. 😀 And if he cries a lot and says it wasn't really him, boo hoo - Spike can stake him.
While he's off finding himself, it would be nice to see Connor take his place.
Buffy needs to be taken down a few notches actually. Enter Cordelia, tactless as ever and telling Buffy some home truths and basically telling her to get her sh*t together. No whinging over the fact her boyfriend went all killing spree again, she has a job to do, so do it.
The story should go back to the origins of the slayer, who put the scythe in the rock and who was that guardian woman who Caleb killed. Cordy being all higher being might know some stuff about this 😀. Screwing a new killer universe into existence wasn't Buffy at her best, I want a purpose for Buffy.
Xander's still cool. He can stay the same really 🙂. Faith needs to take Buffy's place for a bit, try and deal with the fall out and help out the best she can while Buffy is most likely catatonic or doing Angel or crying or doing Spike. 🙄
Dawn, I'm not so sure!? Just no centaur, giant, doll stuff. If they continue with Dander, maybe we need to see that Dawn is extraordinary without the big uber power stuff, like Xander said. A simple little story of her being watcher junior would make me happy.
Willow. I have no idea, I think she's going to be screwed over royally in season 9. I miss old Willow, I think we'll be seeing Dark Willow or gray Willow at least. 🙁
 
I want a Xander arc. One that's about Xander. Not about how Xander is there for Buffy and Dawn, but something about Xander himself.

I want a character-driven season. The least enjoyable parts about S7 and S8 was that plot mattered more than characters and we had very little character interactions.

If they're turning Xander/Dawn into another Xander/Anya, then forget it. Break them up. I don't mind Xander/Dawn, but please make it interesting and give them an arc. They used to be great before they became a couple. I understand that a lot was going on after #31, and I forgive the writers for that, but Xander/Dawn as I've read in the last ten issues was really boring.

I want Willow crippled. I want an angsty Willow story. I can't wait to read about non-witch Willow. I missed her so much.

Spike/Xander. I want them to be friends. I want a lot of scenes with them snarking and being there for Buffy and bonding. One issue about them would be awesome.

Why not decapitating or staking the writers? (I'm kidding). Too bad Angel has to pay when he was written so OOC. He has been destroyed at another character service AND out of his own series (or comics). He was stripped away. He was RAPED. And nobody have questions about that?

By the way, why Angel is supposed to pay for his action an not Cordelia or Spike, or Xander...? They all have been possessed by another entity.

And Scott Allie said they (the writers) have destroyed nothing! He should read all these posts for better understanding the damage they caused.

Allie I believe is wrong but there is nothing to destroy to begin with no offense, he already lost his noble hero cloak when he did a double murder in ATS 5, mind raped his friends, tried to kill Wesley, and sold out to W&H. Angel should have to pay for his actions because he willingly went around murdering slayers and soliders, and others, then got possessed because he willingly did Twilight's dirty work to begin with. Angel wasn't written OOC, he pretty much the same person in ATS 5, the difference is maybe the scale of evil things he did, but its still the same guy and personality. Cordelia,Spike,and Xander didn't willingly do an evil entities dirty work, thats why they shouldn't pay for their actions.
 
Excuse me? Twilight dirty work is IN s8, the same season I was arguing against.

Try to kill Wesley? If he really had wanted to kill Wesley...well, why not trying later? No, he was acting for anger and sorrow. He had lost his son, now with his enemy. Didn't he have any reasons? He was so human in his despair and you despise him?

Wesley and the others freely chose W&H, see Gunn's arc.
