Season One Best Eppy...

It has been so forever since I've been here.:dork: Anyways I own season 1 on DVD and recently borrowed season two and three on DVD from a friend and was wondering what favorite eps of the seasons everyone had.
Season one is really the shortest season having only 12 episodes in it compared to the 20-22 episode seasons there are afterwards.
Personally Nighmares is one of my favorites in season one. because it gives us a better look at the personalities of our favorite characters and it has a moral at the end wich covers an everyday issue.

I plan on doing a poll for each season as I watch them and this is the poll for Season one so vote away and tell us why you picked the ep you did.
 
The Witch because i can watch that one over and over again. Plus it was the first eppie to not deal with vampires. Something not of the norm. LOL
 
My favorite episode of Season 1 would have to be Prophecy Girl That one is very awsome. Because she finally goes up against The Master and all that jazz. Its really awsome. But my second favorite(s) are Welcome to Hellmouth and The Harvest Because those two are the ones that started it all (well besides the movie😛)
 
I voted for Angel. I think that is the best episode on there with Prophesy Girl. :hihi:
 
I Voted for Prophesy Girl. I loved that EP. Buffy vs. the Master it was really good. I also really love The Pack. I have no idea why but I do.
 
I love them all equaly - would be very close to my first pick. But there were some eps I really didn't like, so I suppose I shouldn't put that.

Prophecy Girl has the defining moment of the entire 7 year series (Buffy's stunning, just stunning speech. And I hope this post makes you to want to go and watch it again. Do.) so it wins, for me. I don't care if SMG likes to roast living kittens and beat up orphans with minks she strangled with her bare hands, she's one of the finest actors of the past 50 years, and I really don't think she or anybody could ever top, or even equal that scene.

But.. other than that, Nightmares. Just because it's a nasty almost Silent Hill-ian, concept well realized. I'd forgotten how wierd it was to see Vampire Buffy, and how.. chilling her throwaway comment about being hungry was...
 
Come on - Sid the Dummy!!! 😀 😀 I voted the Puppet Show but there are so many good ones...Prophecy Girl, Nightmares, soo creepy...and Welcome To The Hellmouth.
 
Welcome to the Hellmouth...I think it was a great episode to start a great season, and a great show overall. And they were all so cute and innocent...I just loved it!
 
I loved "Angel" because it blurred the line between good and evil, even if it did introduce information that was later ignored or negated ("I haven't fed on a human being since that day")
 
I voted for Angel, but I love Prophecy Girl equally. I loved that we got to learn more about Angel and his past and how, as someone else already said, it blurred the line between good and evil. So far in the show we had been taught that vampire = bad and that it was clear and black and white, but Angel showed us that it isn't always that clear of a difference between good and evil.
 
I voted Prophecy Girl. Season 1 isn't my favourite season but I really love parts of this episode. There are other great episodes as well but.. Prophecy Girl sure deserves my vote (and all the others').
 
Prophecy Girl, hands down! ^^ I don't even know where to start on that one . . . I might have considered it one of THE best of the series if it wasn't for the cheesy Hellmouth creature . . . although I honor the fact that the studio had little money at that time.

Anyway, awesome episode, awesome dialogue . . . when Willow is describing the massacre she saw and cries, when the kick-butt Slayer breaks down and whispers, "Giles, I'm sixteen years old. I don't wanna die." Ooh, classic line! "Tell him . . . I don't know. Think of something cool, tell him I said it." And everyone saying at some point, "I really like your dress."

I could go on, but I won't. 😉
 
I'm a bangel fan, so my fave episode in Season 1 is Angel. I love this episode. The ending is so sweet. The drama and romance are done in equal parts and its a really good look into Angel's past.
 
Gotto take Angel... I love this episode, an endless classic for me 😉 I just totally love the ending, the beginning and the middle! 😀 I just sooo love everything in this episode. But Never Kill a Boy on the First date is also a huge favourite (Angel jealous. How can you not love it?)
