i loved the ep. 'prophecy girl' the most because it was quite an emotional episode.Buffy didnt want to die and first of all she was like i dont care someone else can save the world,but then when Willow found all those dead people in the room who she knew and got really upset, and Buffy realised that she was the only person who could stop them.i just thought it was a really cool episode.
 
All these episode in this season have their pros and their cons. I'm going with the one that had the least cons and the most pros.

That for me would be Prophecy Girl. This particular episode ended the 1st season off well, letting you grasp for more. It was also rather emotional on some levels and the aspect of the entire thing was exsquisite.

I enjoyed this level the most and I think it deserved my vote.
 
I voted for Prophecy Girl, even though I consider the pilot to be one of the best episodes.
 
I voted tyhe Witch because it was an interesting episode that for once didn't deal with vampires but, instead witches. I was glad, it wasn't just going to be all vampire related episodes through the whole series and that they expanded their creativity and added other supernatural beings.
 
I really think Angel and Prophecy Girl were the best for season 1 but I went with Angel. I'm a huge Bangel shipper and this was their first kiss. It was also the first time that Joss really threw us for a loop I mean how many of you would have perdicted that Angel was a vampire with a soul? I think this episode was when I really realized that this show was going to be amazing.
 
I voted Angel cause any ep revolving around DB can never be bad also it's the only one that stuck out for me.
 
Isn't it obvious that Prophecy Girl was the best?

The part that gets me is when she over hears Angel and Giles talking.

Ok, it's a little odd but i really really like the pack, just the evil part of Xander was hot, and the whole Bander thing goin on was awsome hehe.
 
MY fave is one that not many people seem to care much about but I love Witch, I dunno why really I just love watching it. I like buffy's 'Macho Man' singing lol
 
My fav would have to be Angel. I've never been so moved by anything on TV...it was awesome. I fell in love with the show at that point. It makes me wanna go watch it right now!!

My favorite season 1 episode is Angel. Although I had watched the series from the beginning, this was the episode that turned me into a true Buffy fan. I love the tragedy of star-crossed lovers. "A vampire in love with a slayer. It's rather poetic, really..." as Giles would say. I also find it humorus that I hated Darla in season one of Buffy and was happy she was killed, but then, when she was brought back on Angel, she became one of my favorite characters. Kinda funny, huh?
 
The Pack is one I really like, great badguys and a lot on Willow and Xanders relationship, which having started with season 3 I had never realised went so far back into the series.
 
Yeah, .07 "Angel" would definetly have to be my favorite too.

Because... there's Bangel kissing. And Darla.

Way late on commenting on this, but I never thought of that. It would kind of fit. They were definate gouvernment material 🙂
 
For me season 1 is a toss up between Angel and Prophecy Girl. PG probably gets it for this line "Giles, I'm sixteen years old. I don't wanna die." Back when SMG was cute, adorable and you just wanted to give her a hug when she looked sad.
 
I actually agree with those two. Angel was the episode I really fell in love with the show, and Prophecy Girl...just watched it a couple days ago and it still makes me cry lol
