Season Seven DVDs

That photo is really over-used...I'm so sick of seeing that picture of SMG in that darn shirt on everything...and hey I'm a Spuffy fan all the way...but this cover really should have been of the original four...
 
I don't like the cover either. It's just so bleh. And another cathedral/church background? Pssh.

Also, I wonder who'll be on the DVD covers? Buffy, Willow, Xander, Spike, and Dawn are obvious ones. But this time are they finally going to give Anya a disc (season 5 = Glory, season 6 = Tara), so it's Anya's turn? Or will they give Andrew a disc? :-s

And I wonder what the menus will be like. Hopefully they'll show clips from the season like on the seasons 2, 3, 4, and 5 DVDs, unlike the season 6 opening, which was so boring.
 
I really wish they wouldve used different promos and well just redone the whole cover all together. There are so many promos they couldve used for Buffy but they had to use the S6 ones(which are so boring), and I wish they wouldve put the whole cast from that year on there since it is the finale season.

Use a S3 promo of Buffy, add in willow from S1 or 2 promo, Xander S6 promo, Dawn S5 promo, Spike S5 promo and Anya S5. And have faded pics(like how they put the gentlemen in S4 dvd art) of supporting charecters.

Or even the orignal 4 wouldve been better, even useing the S1 promo of them wouldve been nice.

Having Anya on a dvd cover would be great but ofcourse yeah she isnt going to be on there. I didnt even get why they put Spike on a dvd cover for Season3 when he was in one episode of the season but Anya has yet to get one. Cordelia was on the show S1-3 and she never even got one on a Buffy dvd, instead of Spike for S3 they shouldve used Cordy and ofcourse use her in S2 instead of 2 things of Buffy.
 
Only 6 more days to go, I'm thrilled. Although I have been wondering what pictures they'll use for the discs? Season 6 promos again? I would like it if they used actual pics from episodes..
 
Most likely since they are using the S6 promos for the cover...They haven't really used eppie pics on the discs as of yet.

I can't wait til my collection is complete! I'll be a bit sad though!! No more Buffy to look forward to 🙁
 
I like the cover, I'm not thrilled with it, but I guess it's not too bad. Could have been much better though. And that pic of SMG. You wont believe how tired I am of seeing it. It's everywhere! And it's terrible too! Why must they insist on using it on EVERYTHING? I hate it so much....at first I kinda liked it but then I started seeing it over and over and over and now I hate it. Bleh. I like that pic of Spike though.... 😉
 
I think I may have to wait for Christmas for it. Hopefully someone will buy it for me! I'm so broke right now and have to buy presents for my family so nada for me right now!!

That's funny, Jacklyn & I were just in there tonight and they didn't have it yet 🙁 The silly sales girl butted into our conversation and was like "oh it comes out tuesday". Tell me something I don't know 😛
 
LOL yeah, I've been calling stores all day asking if any of them had put it out yet, but nope, none. I've called Target, Wal-mart, Borders, Best Buy, and Sam Goody, but none. Guess I'll just have to wait til Tuesday 😛
 
Don't think I'm freakishly weird, but I don't have any of the previous season's DVDs. (I have to live with FX syndication) But I may buy this season's DVDs. I just hope I have enough money for it. 😉

I also agree about the cover. Since it's the last season, although I love Spike and Buffy, I think they should have had more of the characters on it. Maybe the whole main cast, instead of two, since it was the last season.
 
I'll be getting my copy tomorrow, it's my anniversary present from my hubby (he got Halo 2) 😀
 
Silly me!!! I went to check my checking account balance online today and there was a lot less money in than I had thought there to be. Unfortunately they didn't list some of the purchases that had cleared, so I called the bank. They read me back the purchases I had recently made and a couple of things I forgot about were on there...the main one being the fact that I must have Pre-ordered Buffy S7 months ago...I don't remember doing it, but oh well it should be on its way to my house!!! Looks like I'll buy the rest of my christmas presents for people with my next paycheck!!

I got my copy last night right after work! It's so purty! Watched the first two eppys...trying to make it last a little longer 😀 When we walked into FutureShop...hubby holding my hand...he turns to me and says "this is the last time we'll be doing this! Going to get Buffy together!" I almost smacked him upside the head 😉 😉 I said "well not unless they release the individual character DVDs, or one giant boxset like they did in the UK, cause you KNOW I'm going to buy it all right?" 🙂
 
Atleast we still have one more season of Angel to look forward to!!! I'm hoping my copy will be waiting for me when I get home today!

DVD season7 has come out the november 16th 2004 (in Canada)
I want too this dvd I will ask it for Christmas :hearton:
 
Is anyone else a bit perturbed over the menu score selection? I find they stress me out and I go as quicly as possible to select my menu options so I don't have to hear it! In particular, the episode menu! A big difference from S 6, especially with that beautiful "The Gift" theme on the scene selection menus. Although I do really like the menu intro...very cool!
