Season Two Best Eppy...

Hard! Of course, I love them all just about equally. Each episode in season two is great, and if it is not totally great, it has some amazing part in it that will draw you in no matter what.

This season had so many stand-out episodes. This is the season that I started watching the show, so it's real special to me. I love all the eps.

I think from fan perspective and from a new watcher perspective, Passion is the best episode. Techincally it's a great ep to draw new viewers in and give them a sense of what to expect from Buffy as a show if they have not seen any episodes already.

From a fan perspective, its an intense episode, the end of a character that I personally grew to love and felt sorry for, she through no fault of her own had been giving this calling to watch Buffy and had no choice, not unlike Buffy herself, and I geniunely believe she did not know the consequences of Buffy getting so close.

The way she dies is just heartbreaking and all the characters are explored to the fullest. The techniques used, the voiceover, that ep gets me everytime. High quality televison.

Second Season always tears my heart up, so the only one that really sticks out that something really bad doesn't happen in would be I Only Have Eyes For You. Yes, I love the couple Angel/Buffy, but Angelus/Buffy is awesome too. Right after the spirit leaves their bodies, its just them staring at each other until she calls him by the name of the soul to remind himself that she doesn't love him - but Angel. I think thats what really bothered him.

I agree completely. This was an all around excellent episode....one of my favorites of the entire series as a matter of fact.

I chose Passions. It's just one of the more memorable episodes for me. I just have to have someone mention the episode to me and I instantly hear Angels voice over. That's what got me the most about this episode, the way that Angel was so calculated about killing Jenny, and how he was watching Buffy and Willow get the news. I always thought the episode should have ended there though! Oh well.

I love Becoming Part 1 & 2 but i had to go with passion.. i mean that epsiode had so much depth and meaning... becoming part 2 made me cry *sob*

Bewitched, Bothered, and Bewildered is my favorite. That episode is just superb on every level. Get to see Xander's wit for an entire episode almost, get to see Joyce and Jenny go wild for Xander (hilarious!) and we get to see how Cordy really feels. great, great ep.

school hard was gr8, Spike and Dru! Bewitched, Bothered, and Bewildered was hilarious. BUT Becoming(parts 1+2) was amazing! that gets my vote hands down.

Hmm... It's hard. I have three episodes in season 2 I love. Innocence, Passion and Becoming part 2. I also love I Only Have Eyes For You and Surprise, but the other three is a tiny bit better, I think. Innocence, because I love Angelus, and the episode is very sad. I think Emlyn explained very well, why it is such an amazing episode 🙂 Passion, because it's so heart-breaking. I cry when I see it, because there are some very powerful scenes. For an example the one where Jenny dies, and the one where Giles finds her in the bed, the one where he calls Willow and Buffy and tells and the scene on the graveyard. And of course Angel's Passion speak thorugh the whole episode. That's amazing. Becoming, also because it has a lot of emotion. Buffy looses everything worth living for. Her friends nearly died because of her, she had a fight with her mother, she's expelled from school and she has just killed the love of her life. Especially the last scene where she sacrifices Angel to save the world is fantastic!!

Hard to choose between them, but I think I'll vote for Passion.

Especially the fight with Buffy and Angel....I cried.

The Becoming episodes are my favorite. They have everything...action, comidy, lots and lots of drama. It's like a mini movie all its own. Becoming pt. 2 is actually my fav episode of the whole series. I think we really learn just how strong Buffy is with all she has to deal with in these episodes and also that shes still just a teenage girl when she runs away from it all in the end.

i liked most of the eps of seaon 2 a lot.i thought the 'Halloween' episode was funny,but i also thought the episode 'Passion' was really good and clever i really like it when Angelus is talkin outside Buffy's window about passion.but my favourite eps were 'Becoming' part 1+2 as they were really emotional and quite sad.

Season Two was a considerable improvement over the first. It seems like the principals have found their comfort zones (particularly Mr. Boreanaz--he's a lot less of a stiff without that curse 😀).

Becoming Parts 1 & 2. Such great episodes... I just bawled my eyes out and it was by far the best ep out of all of them .... so much happened to Buffy in those eps... i just felt so sorry for her and the ending was sooo sad
