Thanks! scobro made it, I think it's great!
I just like light. Plain white light. Candles and christmassy looking branches with small shiny deco. I don't like fancy flashy lights and it has to be conservative and nice looking. I'm not a big fan of American style overdoing christmas decoration.

I like decorations. Period. ALL of them...and preferably more rather than less!

I do seem to have a particular thing for Santas, too. I have a bunch of Santas!

Im the same as you I like really pretty white, blue or coloured lights but not ones that flash all different speeds and stuff. In my house we just have blue star lights that fall over the fire place and small gold wire tree with lights on it and my fibre optic tree. Mostly modern and pretty things, Im not in to the whole blow up santas and a gazillion lights drapping the outside of the that resemble Las Vegas or Blackpool Illuminations.

@scobro - Love that photo totally fitting for a weird sense of humour haha!

I´ve unpacked 17 and have a few more lft in the boxes. Mostly porcelain ones (just common decoration but also candlesticks). The smallest one less than 6cm/2,36 inches and the biggest around 50 cm/19.65 inches in height. But also these guys.

Not sure if I´d call it a thing though. Santas belong to christmas. My mum does have a thing for angels so around christmas time the whole house is filled with them. But I have no idea how many it is.

edit: You see very correctly. I thought I´d leave it to see if anyone would mention it. 😀

I'm a sucker for kitsch, so I personally like the colourful flashing lights. Come on, it's awesme 😀 I also like tinsel, which is really popular in Russia. Which brings me to another great Russian tree decoration, you hang a lot of candy onto the tree 😀
Here in Smeermaas we have these 2 Christmas balls in the kitchen which have been there pretty much ever since I moved in, so I don't know if that counts as Christmas decoration, as it has been here all summer long.

My decorations are a bit of red tinsel on a frangipani cutting in a pot. A friend gave it to me. I think it might be dead now...

Those two balls are around since at least summer '07.
