Seasons 5, 6, 7 combined

What if most of the Big Bads of Seasons 5, 6, and 7 were combined in this one season?

It would be like this: The Trio is working for Glory who promises them fame, glory, and girls if they do certain favors for her like research for her to use for her plans. Glory is being manipulated by the First Evil into opening the gateway back into her dimension knowing the destruction it would cause in its wake. The First Evil was awoken after the Master’s death. The Master being stuck underground somehow kept the First Evil from awakening. But when the First tried to step foot outside of Sunnydale, something kept it from leaving town and that is its mythical connection to the Hellmouth. As long as the Hellmouth exist, the First can’t be free to live life outside of Sunnydale. So for years, the First has been plotting for a way to secure its freedom which eventually came in the form of Glory.

Can you imagine the scoobies trying to piece all that together!?

Giles and Willow would be going crazy with their books and theories, Xander would have a migraine, Dawn wouldn't have a clue, Tara would be trying to keep Willow calm and focused and Buffy would just want to rip all the Big Bad's heads off.

Meh, it's an idea, yes. But it would be a jam packed season. They'd find it hard to fit all that into 22 episodes.
Plus, then we'd never get the awesome arcs in season 6...

That is so much stuff all at ones I can't really get my head around it, I don't see how Glory could have fallen under The First though that wasn't her style, she was a god.
And how would the scoobies be able to beat them all without super powerful Willow? it was the events at the end of season 6 that lead to her great power.

Anyway, as to the OP, gee, it sounds a lot like season 8!

If anything I would have actually preferred Season 7 to be spread over two seasons.

I don't particular like it when to much gets put together. I do think it would have been interesting to see Glory and The Trio together though!!

Yea - I could see this getting very confusion and mish-moshed if all done together in one, big season. It'd be epic - but it'd be really tough to keep tabs on this much going on at once.
