So what happens to the empty graves after the vampies rise and Buffy slays?

...Well, I don't really believe in burial, but it's important to my daughter because she thinks (I have no idea who gave her this idea) that if she's not buried, Jesus won't know she's died and that her soul will be left wandering aimlessly. So, I'm looking into discounted burial plots for her.

sorry but it isn't Buffy who sells the vacant graves, if it were she would have had enough money to pay her bills, after returning back from the dead. However, how do you think the watchers council has so much. Where is it that Giles gets his pay from? How come he could give a cheque to Buffy to help pay the bills?
In season 1, when going up against the thing that ran away from the teacher. Buffy said about Giles fencing his stuff, maybe that was a reference to the graves being sold?
