Any new news on whether or not there will be a Second Season? I read somewhere else that Fox will announce the new Fall lineup in Late May.
 
it gets announced on May 20th read this:

A spokeswoman for the network said the fate of shows like the critically acclaimed comedy "Arrested Development" and the drama "Tru Calling" were still up in the air and would be decided over the next month. The network plans to announce its full fall schedule on May 20.

I've not seen anything yet but a good site to check for news is http://www.thefutoncritic.com they have news of all networks and shows and the development updates and whether or not they have been renewed or not.
 
4 new episodes ordered for next season!

FOX has ordered 4 new TC episodes for next season. It was posted on the website tvtome. I tried putting in the exact URL location, but this software wouldn't allow it.

Anyway, I Hope its Tru!

TV Tome is wrong. I've asked one of the TC producers, and he said Fox has not renewed TC or ordered any additional episodes.

I think what everyone is getting confused with is that TV Tome says that Fox renewed four shows. But Fox didn't renew TC for 4 episodes, they renewed four other tv shows, leaving the fates of TC and Arrested Development to be decided.
 
I am praying for a second season of TC! (and hope jack is part of the cast!!)
 
Tru Calling and Arrested Development. The only two shows I'm watching on Fox.

Well, there's 24, but thanks to the magic of TiVo I'm saving them up for a marathon when the finale is aired. So technically I'm not watching it yet 🙂

Actually, Tru is the only show I'm watching in real-time. It's that good.

Since Fox is aiming for the female 18-35, I told every woman I know to check it out. She promised she would.

Second Season and Help?!?!?

Any word on if Tru has been picked up on a second season?!?!
Seems all of my beloved shows are coming to an end. BTVS, now Angel and probably this. However I did read that there may be some bi-monthly Angel movies beginning in Sept. Eliza has supposedly signed up for? I dont know.
PS Hello everyone I am new to this so forgive me if I am slow on the go. Can anyone help me on how to get my AIM up here and how to make my own posts? I keep getting a list that says i may not post. I am lost. HELP

As for the Angel tv movies, it's something that's being discussed, according to Joss Whedon, but nothing is definate yet.

Tru Calling wouldn't necessarily have to be canceled for Faith to be in the Angel tv movies. Eliza has said she intended to both Tru Calling and Angel this season, but her schedule was so busy with TC she didn't ever have the time to film Angel.

If TC is renewed, Season 2 wouldn't start until November so they wouldn't need to start filming until September, so Eliza would have time to do both TC and Angel tv movies.

Edited to add: I just read that part of what the source for Mediasharx claimed about the Angel finale is true.

I don't want to be spoiled for the Angel finale, but according to a trusted spoiler source, what Mediasharx said about how Angel ends is true. So that does give them more crediablity.

But as I said before, Eliza should be able to film both Angel tv movies and TC, especially if Jack comes back for Season 2.

Yea I have found that tv tome isn't always accurate. They really just take rumors and post them as true. I used to look up Angel info on there and half of it was wrong.

It is getting goood, no? Though the ratings are pretty dismal--Tru ranked a distant third on Thursday night, again. I've heard rumblings that Fox wants to take a chance and see how it does without Friends next season in the same time slot. Either way, you gotta hand it to 'em for sticking it out an entire season. Tru would have been DOA on another network.

I hope those rumblings are true. Fox should take a chance with Tru. I'm sure it will do better woth the "Final Season of Friends" craze Ugh...I'll be glad when Friends is over with.
