Secret Diary of a Call Girl? Spoiler free please!

Anyone watch Secret Diary on SHOwtime? It's one of my favorite shows and the final season (4) premiered last night here in the US.

I'm pretty sure that S4 has already ended over in the UK, so please no spoilers here, I'm very excited to watch this season and see how everything ends.

These are my thoughts so far with last nights episode:

I love Hannah & Ben
I hope Bambi & Byron are in this season
I'm thinking I know how the show is gonna end but I don't wanna say it out loud and spoil it for myself! lol

I haven't watched the show before, but ummm... Billie Piper! 😀 I pretty much adore her. 🙂

It's soo good! Start from S1 and def watch it! There is only 8 eps per season (I think) so it won't take long.

There's alot of sex though, so beware.

I've just started to watch it. Haven't got far but got all the episodes so I'll end it at some point. When one of the first things a character say is "I've never been addicted to anything. Except for maybe the fourth season of The West Wing." you know there must be something right with the show. 😀

Yayy I hope you learn to love the show! I'm sad it's ending this year though. Hannah/Belle is such an intriguing character.

Yeah S2 is a good one, I think my favorite is S3 though, you're gonna meet some new characters in S2 that make things very interesting 🙂

I've seen the whole way through, I'm in two minds about whether I like it or not though. I definitely prefer the books. The series is totally watered down.

Billie Piper is stunning of course, but I feel like the series is very all over the place in what it wants to say about women and sex. I don't want to say to much because I can't remember what events were Season 1 or 2 or 3 or 4 so I'll leave it there.

I just cant see Miss "Honey to the B" as a Prostitute. I know shes trying to shake off that image but I haven't seen her in anything other that her music. Billie Piper as a Call girl is like casting Selena Gomez in The L Word (if it was still on)

I saw that episode yesterday. Fan moment indeed. 😀 I heard that David Tennant was going to be on as well but for some reason (I haven't gone looking for answers) it didn't happen.

Is there any harm in giving a show a chance and stop watching if you don't like it? Will you stop liking Rose if you don't like her character in this?
