Seeing Red...No happiness for ANY0NE, huh Whedon?

The killing Tara off was my worst moment in Buffy. Its the only thing i wish they didn't do. I'd love to have seen her in s7 a million times more than Kennedy. I kinda think Joss took it to far, trying to make a point of 'no ones safe'. Surely every fan would rather she lived?

I must agree with Revolver here. Much as I'd love to see Tara and Willow happy ever after, the shock of Tara's death created a momentum I don't think Joss could have achieved otherwise without killing off an original slayerette for good. And that is something I would hate to see.

Erm. I suddenly realised that Cordelia is long gone from "Buffy" at this point. So apparently I could have gotten used to the show without Xander or Willow as well. But I have a hard time imagining it.

Maybe they could've killed Dawn off lol
Its not even that i minded too much killing Tara off if it made the story better, but seeing as i wasn't into the Dark Willow arc i was like ''what? They killed Tara just so they could make Willow go bad? Boooooo'' 🙂

I wasn't a huge Tara fan at all (but I did think Amber Benson portrayed her very well) so I wasn't upset when they killed Tara off. I mean, I was glad they got back together, but I sooooooo LOVED "dark Willow" - and nothing else would make her "go dark" - so I was OK with it.

I'd much rather have seen Xander & Anya be "the one couple who made it work" in the Buffy series. (other than Buffy & Spike, I mean!)

....or hell, at least let GILES have a little happy going with somebody, geesh!
