Hey - this idea of "adoption" to show someone the ropes is kind of like being "sired." :: vampire

Anyone in Raiden want to sire me into their family? :fam:

Well in fairness PV we ALL are pretty awesome if we do say so oursleves!

I would have to agree with Kean there but it has become apparant to me that Raideners are far superior in the "awesomeness" department LOL :lmao:

Ok, all who have RSVP'd to adopt me - please do! 🙂 We'll be one big happy family. And trust me, I'm going to need the help!

PV, to answer your questions - there are so many characters to love. I am fascinated with Drusilla (especially the early seasons), and oh, I LOVE Spike. But as much as I love Spike, I'm still a Bangel at heart. I just love Spike's dialogue. Anya's too. I think I identify the most with Willow's personality style (not gender choice, just personality style!). "The Body" was brutal to watch, but a most excellently written episode. I really enjoyed all the Buffy/Angel/Angelus stories from the early seasons - was hoping for so much more of them. Oh, I absolutely loved the episode just after "The Body" when Angel comes to console Buffy. That scene by the tree in the graveyard had me bawling. As for Angel the series, I was blown away by the episode in which Faith breaks down, going from bloodthirsty to vulnerable to the shock and surprise of Angel (and the audience!). Also, my favorite Angel episode is probably "I Will Remember You." Big surprise there, huh? ;-)

oh and my fave epi of Angel is "I will remember you" too. Cried buckets! soooo sad and I have dragged my feet watching the rest but the epi with Faith sounds intriguing so I guess I will have to start watching the rest of my season 1 and 2 dvd's I am sure if I do that I will get hooked...its just well...harder to get into knowing that there will never be bangle 🙁

It is true - I, too, worried about being disappointed in the non-Bangel side of "Angel: The Series." But trust me, with the exception of the series finale, I doubt you'll be too disappointed in the show itself.

And I'm SO sorry if I spoiled anything for you re: Faith. I just assumed everyone on these boards knew everything there is to know. My faux pas at being a newbie. Please forgive!

Is there a general rule on that in here, by the way?

ah your suppossed to put *spoiler alert!* or something but in your case you only further intrigued me to watch...and its not like devulged much information other than the other slayer cry fest hahahaha. Its no more of a spoiler than finding out that Angel had a son named Conner with Darla hahahah or that Cordelia died. Well for me those were bigger...but I dont mind spoilers....not in the least...I think really the only thing you are really suppossed to label as spoiler are comic book stuff now anyway.
 
I think you're okay. A few years after something has aired, you really can't consider a passing mention of it a "spoiler." Now, if you'd let something slip about the newest comic, we might have to beat you with wet noodles.

hahaha the spoilers on this site about the comics is the only way I have gained insight to the comics at all. I am SUCH a cheater lol I havent read a single one but yet I still know some of what is going on ha! It might take me awhile but I will most likely EVENTUALLY get around to reading them myself just not anytime in the VERY near future lol. Gotta love BB. :grouphug:

s5 of Angel just got stared in Germany for the first time. So there's a lot of room for spoilerness when it comes to us Germans. Really, whenever I'm on some German site, or talking to German peopl, I have to be really careful what to say. You might now that one video on the epiosde 'You're Welcome' I did...Well, I showed it to a German friend, announcing it might contain some spoilers and after he watched he was like "Little spoiler??!!?? Cordelia died!!!". On the one hand I was kinda sorry, on the other I was having the best time of my life, lol.

And nobody should be sad about the absence of Bangel in Angel...that's what we got Cangel for 🙂
