Although, just as a side note, IF it were a "given" that if you wanted to sell things you went there, there could still end up with divides on the board if/when something went wrong. Still, it probably wouldn't be as MUCH as if it were here, but still.
There is a way to do private auctions, I had thought that maybe a thread that just linked to a private eBay auction might work, at least for the bulk of the issues, but then there could still be problems here if something went wrong.
I don't know, the whole thing just scares me. But, I get all Momma Bear about stuff. The whole thing just kinda seems like the underaged people are the ones that will bear the brunt of the things that could go wrong. Buying or selling without permission, angry parents, giving out addresses, getting "taken" if someone says they sent money or says the item never arrived. The little things that can go wrong and will they know what to do when matched up against someone who KNOWS how it works?
I keep imagining my daughter selling off her Buffy Collection (or mine) to get money for a tattoo or something and me coming in one day and saying, "Where did you get the money? Where is Puppet Spike?"
