First, I would like to apologize for the recent rash of spam pm's that you may have received. We are doing our best to help prevent this from happening again.
Second, I would like to reiterate that board email and pms are not to be used for advertising purposes. It's one thing to tell your friend about a site you've done or found - that's fine - but it is completely unacceptable to make your way down the member list pming everyone about your board. This adds to our server load and takes up space in the database, which costs us money. It also is very annoying to other members.
We would not come to your site and do this to you, so all we ask is that you give us the same courtesy.
Finally, I want it to be clear that anyone using board emails or pms maliciously will be banned from the board immediately.
If this becomes a problem, we will have to resort to switching off the pm feature.
Anyone signing up on these boards just to advertise will have their account deleted immediately.
