I might be just like you!
Can't believe it was only three years ago...seems like yesterday. I know it's a very sad subject, but I can't help but wonder what you all think about what happened and looking toward the future.
I'll never forget where I was when it happened..I came out of class and everyone was glued to the TV in the Lobby...at that point only one plane had hit, so many were assuming it was an accident. So I walked out to my car and got in and started driving to the other building across campus when I heard the news of the second plane. I immediately parked my car and called my mother to find out where my dad was because he works in the city and had just gotten off work not an hour before...I was so wound up I locked my keys in my car and my mother had to come bring me my spare set. Turned out my dad got out of the city on the last ferry and watched from the river as the first tower collapsed. A nice stranger gave him a ride to a place that was in walkable distance to our house.
That's just my story I thought I'd share...
