Yay! Finally a new post-Serenity story!
I enjoyed this, I like the set up for the story. It makes sense for were we were after the film.
Loved the Alliance stuff at the start and the hinting at what I presume were more agents like River, which I can't wait for!
It was also a good balance of setting up the story for the first couple of pages and showing enough of the crew that we didn't feel short changed by the issue
Jublal was random, but his character was so awesome in the show. Anyone know what the actor had to do with the comics? He was mentioned in the note at the end as having a big part to play?
There was a lot to process, Janye left the group? It makes sense for his character he wouldn't stick around, but I really wanna know what finally pushed him to leave!
MAL AND INARA!
I dont know how I feel about River being sane now, that seems odd, but will have to see as I love Rivers... Riverisms.
Zoe imagining Wash's death was not cool, why did they have to do that to us?!? Bad enough seeing it in the movie *cries*
Simon and Kaylee are exactly were they should be as characters!
The art for Kaylee and River was pretty bad, and I dont think they got Kaylees quirkiness right in the writing, she felt almost like a caricature of Kaylee with the "gee golly gosh" type stuff, right?
Mal and Inara seemed perfect though, I really heard the characters voices in my head during their bits and especially in their fight!
