Figured it's time to check out this show from the beginning.

Liked this episode, too bad reavers never showed up.

Quite curious about them.

Not crazy about River's brother, but I like everyone else.

Especially Jayne, Mr. Baldwin is great in the role.

Me thinks Mal has feelings for Companion Girl, that scene between them towards the end was interesting.


Seen bit/pieces of Firefly in the past, this show is quite unique.

The reavers are finally shown in the movie, as well as having it explained as to how they became what they are, but you're better off not seeing it until AFTER you watch the series.
Well, even if you're not crazy about Simon, I'll promise you right off the bat that no one in this show is anywhere near as bad as Connor.
 
I understand the FOX hate, but it seems like most of my favorite shows are on the network. It's a very love-hate kind of thing.

Anyway, I think Simon has the ability to grow on a person very quickly. I didn't like him at first (part of that may be due to his resemblance to a person that annoys me) but eventually I liked him--if for no other reason than the way he looks after his sister.

I also just watched the show for the first time, gotta say the episode was cool but the westerny background music was slightly off putting. I like River's Brother though reminds me of another character. Can't remember where from though.
