Seth MacFarlane is officially entering the live-action comedy game. The Family Guy creator's sitcom pilot Dads has been given a series order by Fox, along with four other new comedies, including one starring Saturday Night Live"˜s Andy Samberg.
Dads stars Family Guy voice talent Seth Green and Ted co-star Giovanni Ribisi as two best friends whose lives are turned upside down when their fathers move in. The network's other new comedies include $#*! My Dad Says author Justin Halpern's latest Surviving Jack (based on his book I Suck at Girls) and a new offering from Parks & Recreation writer-producers Dan Goor and Michael Schur starring Samberg as a lackadaisical detective.
