ok....so what do you guys think.Is it possible that magic,wicca ect...is more about being sensual&passionate with another(or more than one) peroson&letting lust&sex become greater.Or is it purley for casting spells to alter things in the world!
 
Well, in Buffy we clearly see that magic is about a lot more than alter things in the world.. And if it's on Buffy I believe it.. heh. Seriously, I believe that doing spells or magic with another person can be really intense and can probably have to do with sex/romance..
 
I think that the magic on the shows does tend to lead to romatics and sex. I has that power that just makes people get all...well you've seen Willow and Tara.
But all magic is is energy really. So yeah I see how people think magic leads to sex...
Its just that all the energy makes you want to be with someone in that capacity.
 
I agree with you two guys.
For me (being a wiccan), I feel like I could never do a spell with "just anybody." I've never in my life met someone that I feel that connection with, except my girlfriend. We're kinda like a Tara/Willow couple, partners in magic, ya know 😉

Did you meet because of the wiccan thing?

I had a friend like that once (not my girlfried though), we used to try to do magic all the time.. It never worked that well but we were really close and I think she's the only person I could ever do anything like that with..

Both yes and no. We became good friends cause we have the same interests and stuff. And that later led to us becoming a couple and not until then did we start doing spells together and such.
I'm glad she's a wiccan too cause I think it would be hard for me to be with someone who's not. It's such a big part of me and my life, it would be sad; not being able to share that with someone who understands.
 
I understand completely.
I'm interested in the wiccan thing, but until I move out my mom has put a strong foot down on it so...
 
I think that rituals, circle casting, coven mates, energy manipulationg - it all seems very personal to me. (Especially if you practice Skyclad, 😉)

I'm a solitarian, so I really couldn't say if the energy got to a more romantic level.

I'm a little surprised grounding the energy afterward wouldn't stop that, though.
 
I've never really understood, the thing.. about magic and wiccan and all that. I used to try to find someone or some people to do spells and stuff with, but they never seemed to want me with them.. And I'm not really into that anymore, but it must be great if you know what you're doing and understand about it..
 
In real life when you do magic you dont have to be sensual with someone. it can work perfectly well if you do it alone, but it does add a little sumthing, sumthing if you do it with a loved one... :blush:
