Hi Guys,

Just a general wondering that comes up here from time to time, however I am going to stay away from the labels usually attributed to it.

Are you interested in people of the same sex, opposite sex or indeed both.

Have you any issues with any?

Do you find people of the same sex attractive BUT never entertain the thought of going with them?

I am only interested in SELF sex.. at least I know I wont screw myself over.. well, I guess I do screw myself over but it's kinda the point of self love, no?

are you from detroit?
Yes, I think I find both men and women sexee, but I'm straight? But yeah, I don't know about "going with them", that's a different thing altogether, or is it? I don't know, I think everyone is sexy, EXCEPT JUDE LAW AND SALLY FIELD.

Well quite, self sex is a choice as well - granted usually other peoples 😱)

I'll give you Jude Law but I quite like Sally Field.

I've never thought of men in a way even remotely sexual. To me it is a concept I just can not understand the want of. I've had some really good friends that are handsome and noble guys too. that doesn't mean that i disaprove of the lifestyle though. I believe in the "If it harms none, then let it be." bumpersticker.

Naturally, since I married a sexy woman and have had two wonderful children, of course I find females attractive!

I have no issue with others being homosexual; even if they do the personal displays of affection like public kissing, or handholding, snuggling whatever. Thats all right by me. I'm not a big fan of nasty, slurpy, in the open public displays of affection, and that goes for both hetero and homosexual.

As far as quantifying people of the same sex attractive or not- without of course a dusting of lusting, I think everyone does that to some degree. Beauty does not necessarily beget sexual attraction.

My sentiments exactly.

Too true.
I have been with my girlfriend for 6 years, but both of us do notice attractiveness in the same gender. I know a good looking guy if i see him, and she knows a good looking woman. But there is no sexual connection to it. It is interesting though, i think, that those traits are there.
But love is love at the end of the day, so i think whatever sexuality you are it's ok. I mean my best friend Steve is gay, and i hate the thought of people judging him, and i do see it happen to him.
One night a former school friend of ours, Jack was talking to me, Steve came over, and Jack just went to leave. I asked what's up, he said i'm not talking to him. I said, it's ok to talk to me,but not my friend. Jack's reply- yeah, but unlike your friend your not a f***ing f*g. Christ. My responce, There's nothng wrong with it, i grabbed steve and kissed him, for about a minute in front of that stupid bigot. But i didn't feel anything, well, maybe tongue🙂

Me = Bi-sexual. I never used to be bi, but looking back it seems that I've always felt some attraction to other girls. I just put it off as a phase I was going through, but near the end of the summer holidays this year I realised that it wasn't a phase. It's just me.

Maybe it shouldn´t but to be sure of that after just turning 15 is impressive in my eyes. Many people often "struggle" with their sexuality into their 20´s or even later. I´m happy for you.
I'm mostly straight I think. I have had a few crushes on actresses, but never anything as 'serious' as my male crushes, so yeah - straight is me.

Interesting question. I'm pretty darn straight. I like men. I like five-o'clock shadow. I like a dusting of chest hair against smooth, broad muscle. I like men's backs (they're strong; women's backs seem frail to me). I like the slightly musky scent of men. I like the intensity of a man's gaze. I like the way men lean. I like body heat. I like the way men look at me and appreciate what they see. I like the way they seem to sometimes age with grace and dignity, their lines and wrinkles further defining the planes of their faces. I like a lot of other stuff, too, but this is a family friendly board and I'm sure you already get the idea. To me, men = sexy.

All of that said, I can appreciate beauty in a woman. I have even been known to kiss a lady or two. I've never taken things further, though, and I can't imagine doing so. It should be noted, here, that I spent four years at a women's college, so yes; I have been tested. I have no wish to disparage my own sex or those who find us attractive; it's just that, at the end of the day, men = sexy to Palabra. By contrast, the idea of having sex with a woman, even the most attractive woman out there, seems unsatisfying. Women just don't raise my eyebrows and blood pressure the way men do.

eeewww chest hair. Now that's one thing I DON'T like about men!
I don't mind men being interested in other men, but it really isn't my cup of tea. However, everybody should be basically free to do what he likes, as long it doesn't disturb anybody else. I personally like to look at good looking male celebrities on the internet for instance. Especially just to admire them and be jealous, maybe even getting inspired, but I don't think that there is much one can really change/improve really. Hopeless case 😀 ^^

Any way. I like messing about with men, well this sounds now odd. ( 😛 ) What I mean playing/acting around for general fun, basically just joking around, some times, can be quite funny, but seriously I am not interested in men. Sometimes I believe that one or two of my friends have got ideas in their head to be a bit more than just friends, and I find that a bit creepy, well just personally. I prefer women, big time 😉

I guess I should answer the question being I posed it.

To be quite honest, I love all.
I have no issue in being with a man or woman. It is all about the person. I don't necessarily find classically attractive people are my cup of tea though, I likes em with some kind of quirkiness.

Don't get me wrong if a stunningly attractive person wanted to 'sex me up' I wouldn't kick them out of bed for farting, but to be honest that is merely sex and IF I was looking for merely sex, I would probably go more lad than lady.

Having said that its interesting that if I wanted a relationship then generally I prefer women for that, which has nothing to do with children because I don't want them.

Ohhh though the one person in all the world I want I can never have because Kaylee Frye is untouchable.
What I would give to tap...I shall stop there😛

...her on the shoulder and tell her how much you love her? I'm sure that's what you meant.
I'm attracted to men, but I consider myself bi-curious. I can tell when other women are hot and I'd be okay kissing a woman. I'm not sexually attracted to women in general, which makes me not bisexual.

Girls, girls, girls! Or maybe I should say women, women, women. I´m straight and I love my women. Simple as that. But I can understand the hotness, sexyness or handsomeness of men but it´s not something I myself fall for. But unlike more than a few friends I´m secure enough in myself to admit that a guy can be good looking. Or that I can understand why some girls/women find a certain guy attractive. And after all those birthday threads it´s not like I´m uncomfortable with browsing the net after pics of half naked men...

Do I care about or have trouble with other peoples preferences? Absolutley not. And I must admit that it has bugged me more than a little to be growing up in a place where being "different" was seen as a very bad thing. "Playing" gay just to bug people was always fun. Not that I ever did take it far, Just comments made peope squirm big time. 😀 Have the thought of making out or having sex with someone of the same sex crossed my mind? Sure, but it´s always come down to the same thing. It´s definitely not for me.

I´m glad that the world is changing and becoming more openminded even if there´s still a long way to go. And one of the many things I love with these boards is that people are so openminded (even though I hate the fact that I even use that word. It´s natural so just using it is so terribly worng.). I´ve been surrounded by narrowminded people most of my life and I hate it.

I'm not a big fan of nasty, slurpy, in the open public displays of affection, and that goes for both hetero and homosexual.

+ 1 Nothing wrong with showing affection but sometimes it just goes too far.

I'm not a big fan of nasty, slurpy, in the open public displays of affection,
The Museum of Art in Detroit has a rather large (padded, even) elevator.. and a wonderful underground parking garage if you ever do decide. You can get your exhibitionist desire on in a relatively safe environment.

I think I am the board lesbian XD

I have absolutely no problems wether it's got a penis or not. As long as I am having a great time with the person.
I won't exactly say that I am gay, neither bisexual. I am going for guys! But if it came down to "it" I don't think I would mind a girl. Somehow girls have better connections with each other 😛

....well you do have a wife and an afair going with spoons lol
Do you find people of the same sex attractive BUT never entertain the thought of going with them?

That's exactly me. I like women, their shape, their scent, their tenderness (although men can obviously also be very nicely shaped, smell lovely and be very tender), but I've just never fallen in love with one. Maybe that will happen sometime, I don't know and I don't care. Love and sexuality is about two persons being together, and thats beautiful, no matter how many penises/vaginas are involved.
