Sexual attraction

I'm straight...at least, I think I am, lol. I like the boys, but I have no problem admitting that I find a woman attractive. However, I've never gone any further than that. But who's to say, if I found the 'right girl' I wouldn't? I can't sit here and say that I would never 'go for' another woman, because I can't tell the furture. But right now, I'm happy with the label of straight.

Unless of course, Michalea Conlin knocks on my door tomorrow morning, lol.

GET OUT OF MY HEAD WOMAN!!!!
I think ultimately, I'm straight. I can appreciate the beauty of a woman, even find her sexy and be attracted to her but when all is said and done I like men. I think Palabra summed up my reasons rather well with her own. I like the feeling of a man, I like big strong arms around me or my head against a solid chest. To me that is just sexy, it feels right. I also like the balance of a male/female relationship, I think I work better that way. Most of my friends are male, I just seem to click better with the males of the species. Wow way to make yourself sound slutty Kean...

At the same time if love came knocking at my door in the shape of a woman who would I be to turn it away. Ideally I would hope to end up with a man but if the love of my life turns out to be a woman, then so be it.

Five by Five agrees: Oh, I'm SURE we could find you a WOMAN with "big strong arms" and a "solid chest"! 😛

LMFAO...Ok now I know I am straight cuz that thought just gave me the wiggins😉

Ok, this whole 'twin' thing is getting worse. That's pretty much exactly how I feel!

For me when i was younger i use to be a boy chaser kind of, i had all guys as my friends and i loved been with them but when it came down to it something didnt feel right when it came to romance, then i met my latino girlfriend and everything clicked, i dont label myself but if i had to i would say im gay it just took a while for it to click

I think what Lyri said pretty much applies to me, too. I can certainly find a woman attractive, but when it's all said and done, I like men. I'd go into specifics, but instead of getting myself all hot and bothered, I'll just say everyone has their own preferences in a man or woman. Still, if the right person came along, I could see myself with a woman.

Pretty much agree with alot of these posts. I consider myself straight but I have no problem admitting that a woman is sexy. Ive never been attracted to a woman in that way but if I found myself feeling that way I would be completely fine with it. I was always brought up to believe that people are personalities not sexualities, I dont give a crap what your into, as long as it doesnt hurt others or yourself, go nuts, do what you want, if your happy then Im happy.

I'm mostly straight I think. I have had a few crushes on actresses, but never anything as 'serious' as my male crushes, so yeah - straight is me.

Yes, I too have had slight crushes on actresses. Had a thing for Sherilyn Fenn back in the day. But nowhere close to the thing I had for Chris Cornell, or still have for Johnny Depp (he makes me REALLY frisky 'cos I think he would be quite cheeky!), or George Clooney (something about the voice and eyebrows), or even Harrison Ford as Han and Indy..... not to mention Angel AND Spike near naked (not sure about together though! unless I was sandwiched between lol)

Interesting question. I'm pretty darn straight. I like men. I like five-o'clock shadow. I like a dusting of chest hair against smooth, broad muscle. I like men's backs (they're strong; women's backs seem frail to me). I like the slightly musky scent of men. I like the intensity of a man's gaze. I like the way men lean. I like body heat. I like the way men look at me and appreciate what they see. I like the way they seem to sometimes age with grace and dignity, their lines and wrinkles further defining the planes of their faces. I like a lot of other stuff, too, but this is a family friendly board and I'm sure you already get the idea. To me, men = sexy.

Women just don't raise my eyebrows and blood pressure the way men do.

I agree. Also add muscular thighs and a harder body, big shoulders and thick forearms. I went to the tour de France only to watch those tanned smooth thighs and calves turning (I quite like them hair free!) and I could spot Mario Cippolini's arse in a peloton of 120 riders in a nano second. When I go to see the rugby and you add the smell of muscle rub to the view of those chunky thighs I go quite swoony. Not to mention swimmers and rowers. My blood pressure is rising already.

Agree again (and lmao!). I can see if a woman is sexy, hot and fit - I'm straight, not blind (although possibly jealous 😉)Still doesn't mean I'll want to sleep with her. I have had the opportunity, which it isn't really appropriate to expand on in a family area, but needless to say I felt there would be something, er, 'missing' from the scenario, so passed it up. It's just not my bag.

Having said that, that is not to say I am AT ALL homophobic - each to their own. My husband works away a lot, so I rely quite heavily on my 'gay second husband' for all the practical things, like moral support, childcare, cooking, shopping. Actually it's a perfect arrangement. I recommend every woman should have one!

lol, that is the same reason why I watch the tour de France lol.
I think I am the board lesbian XD

I have absolutely no problems wether it's got a penis or not. As long as I am having a great time with the person.
I won't exactly say that I am gay, neither bisexual. I am going for guys! But if it came down to "it" I don't think I would mind a girl. Somehow girls have better connections with each other 😛

Perny is board meant to be bored by any chance?

I don't actually see you as a lesbian in any way, shape or form - even if you do flirt like crazy with some of the other girls on the board.

Of course I don't know you personally but in my mental image of you - created by your posts, your art, from speaking to you on IRC and on the board you don't seem to me to be the lesbian type. Just my opinion.

Bi-sexual i think is my category if i have to have one 🙂 and yes that has been verified 😉
'Course you don't.

I don't believe in categories, stable sexual (or any other kind of) identities or genders. But, considering what the world looks like today, I do prefer women. And I do identify as a lesbian. I have made out with guys before, and don't mind it, but, that's basically as far as I go. Having said that, there aren't that many women I am that attracted to either. All my sexual and/or romantic relationships have been with girls/women though...

A bored lesbian? Lol

It was ironic... Although of course it's a bit hard to catch irony when you read it. especially from me!

Damn straigth(worst pun ever!)!
Nah I am mostly the "Guy loving type". There are too many good men out there!

So I am definitely straight but I am a huge supporter of those who are either by or gay. I have always had the thought that what ever floats your boat is fine with me. I will say that kissing girls is always fun but at the end of the day I like a dude more 🙂

I agree with a lot of what has already been said. I'm straight, but I can see why people are attracted to some women. And I have no problem with people being gay. Some of my closest friends are gay and it doesn't bother me at all.

But over all I like guys. One James Marsters in particular, but guys in general are what I like 🙂

I'm straight as a straight line 😉 i can see when a woman is pretty and attractive but i've never developed feelings or anything towards a woman.I love the protectiveness of a man feeling safe in his big arms! i even like the stupid things men do which make them so different from women i.e they can't multi-task to save there lives (well the ones i've met). Having said that I'm a very flirty person i love it so I'm flirty with anyone but its all harmless.

I have some gay friensd and support of anything or one that makes them happy. What ever floats your boat 🙂

We so can multi-ta- oh, wait, hold on a minute, someone's messaging me in the IRC.......right. What was I saying?

We can multitask, its just we prioritise much better than women :P
Definitely straight. Love my husband dearly and can't imagine doing it with anyone else. 😀 Not to say I don't know when a woman is drop-dead gorgeous and sexy (Catherine Zeta-Jones, anyone?), but I don't think it makes me any less straight.

To those of you who identify with bi/gay/lesbian, etc., I have a question. I know some folks who end up saying they're bi when they're asked because if they say straight, then the bi/gay/lesbian folks they know give them crap about it and say they're homophobic, and they don't want to appear that way. Do y'all have any thoughts on the matter? Have you encountered people who think like that before? (Just curious here)

One major complaint about gay people - they stole my nice shiny word that means happy and now when I try and use gay in the older context, people look at me funny... 😛 😉

Re:

Sexual attraction...How did I know this thread was started by BOTD? 😉 Luv ya chico.
I'm not really sure what I consider myself. I've been playing for the hetro team most of my life, and have enjoyed it immensely. But I am sexually attracted to both men and women. I could go on for days about why I'm attracted to both, but the main thing that attracts me to a person is self-confidence. You could be one-toed, and as plain as the nose on my face...But if you're full of confidence...Now that's sexy. (That and I occassionally like someone who can throw me around.) *GASP* Did I say that out loud?! 😉

I'm about 98.5% into women (like I said in my karma post above, there are a very few men who register at all as sexy for me, and yes, Jude Law is among them 😛 together with Pierce Brosnan and, of course, Sean Connery).

I definitely don't consider myself straight though... as I would never have any kind of sexual contact involving male genitalia (including the ones I unfortunately was born with :sigh: ). Both hetero and male gay sex are concepts that make me quite a bit uneasy for the penis involved - so I see myself as about as firmly lesbian as you can be with an undefined gender. I'm damn glad to live in the age of the internet, obviously... as it allows for "cyberotic" contacts without my ill-equipped body getting in the way. So I finally got to have my "first time" at the age of 32, in a chatroom. *lop-sided grin*

Sean Connery karma!
As of this moment it looks like the article for bans on gay marriages in California has a slight lead. This makes me sad.

Some people I know say, 'who are you to question the will of the people.' I say who are those people to deny civil rights to others?

I'm straight... but maybe I'm too young to really make an opinion about it... Though I don't see myself having something with a woman honestly... I need to convince that I don't believe love can be as strong as when it's man - woman... Or at least not as passionful. But I wanna make clear I don't have anything against bisexual/homosexual/lesbian people. My dance teacher is one, a familyfriend, ...

I'm not really into labels and would have to go along with epo's ideas on gender/sexuality etc, but I have been with both men and women and currently I have a girlfriend, but I don't know what the future holds. I tend to fall for people and just work with what i've got.
