What can I say, girls are ultimately sexier than guys. We're just prettier, even prettier than you, Alister. Ultimately though, it's that rugged, slightly dangerous strong guy that's a total sweetheart inside that I'm attracted to. But the boobs are hot. Not on the guys though. No man boobs please.

I'm not exactly sure what it is about people that attracts me to them. Because I've liked a wide array of personalities. The main qualities I'm usually attracted to are:

- Humor...I like someone who can makes me laugh.
- The amount of love and kindness someone shows to other people, especially strangers.
- They gotta like kids.
- There needs to be a similar taste in movies and TV for me, because I could not enjoy a relationship with someone who watched all of those dating shows on VH1.

I'm very attracted to Eliza Dushku...she's strong but feminine, she seems very sweet and down-to-earth, smart, and she also seems funny and charming. But then again a lot of other famous girls I like are quite different from Eliza, and in real life, like I said there are all types I'm attracted to.

I meant dark more as in dark hair but I do like guys who are intense in their own way. I love thinkers, guys who have a real depth to them. Sometimes that means dark personality but not always.

I've never come across a fella who has 'gotta love kids' as one of their deal breakers. It's refreshing.

Sexual attraction is a weird thing isn't it? What turns me on might repulse you or make you feel like a drooling puddle of lust on the floor -- it's never exactly the same is it (feel free to argue the point on that one)?

I personally as a largish fellow (those who've seen my picture on the post a pic of yourself thread will attest to this) have a sort of picture in my head as to what my perfect partner would look like or close to what she would look like, and that to me is as close to perfection as my imagination could produce. Only one problem though, I doubt that I come even close to being anyone's perfect image of a long term partner. I know I'm doomed to spend the rest of my life as a single, lonely and ultimately frustrated man.

But to be honest with you all that image (the one in my head) is a fallacy - truth be told, I'd rather look for intelligence in a person rather than looks. Someone who's capable of having a decent conversation rather than a three word grunt over a bottle of wine or a meal in a restaurant, and of course I'd hope that the person I'm with would be looking for the same thing in me. But that's not going to happen is it? Not as long as I have a hole in my backside it's not.

The human race has been conditioned over millennia to seek out the 'one' -- that special person with whom you want your DNA to be mixed with to produce strong, healthy children to secure the survival of the species for countless years to come. Due to television programmes such as "Blind Date" here in the UK and I'm sure shows like it everywhere else on the planet - the notion that beauty is everything is pushed and pushed and people who don't fit into what is categorised as 'beautiful' are left behind to rot in a corner. Intelligence is poo-poo'ed upon, looks are everything these days and it's wrong.

So for me, to eventually answer Edmunds second question - intelligence is what I would go for it was up to me, but as I've said - I, like you, have been conditioned to look for something that is, for me at least, probably unachievable.

Actually, yes. Dilated pupils is one of the physical signs of being turned on. Mr. Bear used to discuss his psych classes with me, and he mentioned a study in which the researchers put stuff in a girl's eyes so they'd dilate and sent her out to ask random guys to take a survey (or something), and sent out another girl without the dilation, and the dilated girl got WAY more survey participants than the non-dilated girl, even though they were equally pretty. The researchers apparently concluded that even though we might not realize on a conscious level that dilated pupils mean turned-on-ness, or that someone's pupils are dilated at all, our biology reacts to it anyway.

Alright, to answer Ed's question about what I find attractive...

Definitely Latino, very definitely Latino. Dark hair, dark eyes, dark-ish skin. Probably about 5'8-9"ish in height. Preferably a lawyer by trade.... (sw)

In general, I tend to find Latinos attractive. Antonio Banderas and Salma Hayek for instance. Wales has attractive folk as well... Catherine Zeta-Jones... 😉

When it comes to older men, I prefer a more distinguished look, a la Patrick Stewart, Christopher Lee, Sean Connery, Anthony Stewart Head. Younger men, I tend to prefer a more rogue-ish look, Harrison Ford and Viggo Mortensen the exceptions 😉, such as Alexis Denisof, Cary Elwes (before he got old and fat), Sean Bean, James Marsden, David Boreanaz, etc.

I'm pretty much definitely straight, but two gals is definitely hotter than two guys. And I'd go gay for Catherine. 😉

I must admit, I'm usually not a fan of sticks when it comes to girls... curves are nice... although Amy Acker is one of the few women who can pull off "stick" and make it look very hot. 😉

I really don't have a type at all. The girls I'm attracted to don't really have much in common. Most of them have been pretty small girls though, barely taller than me and usually thinner. I like boobs too but I don't care about the size of them 😛
