is it true...that if a guy is hot and attractive...that it's almost impossible for him to be slapped with a sexual harassment lawsuit...by a female worker??

cause when i think back now...for the things i've said and done...in work and school...i should be screwed...it kinda makes me scared...cause some of the stuff isn't appropriate here...and if it isn't appropriate here...than...eee...

I've never thought about that. One would assume that if the person who is making the lewd comments happens to be attractive, that it really wouldn't make a difference. That person should still suffer consequences. But I guess that some people might say 'well, because he is good looking, etc, that woman was probably putting the moves on him first;.

Can't say that I've ever been in this position before, so I'm not sure if I really know what I'm talking about !!! 🙂

For some unknown reason our pharmacy has dealt with that alot in the past years (do they make prescription aphrodesiacs??)......And unfortunatlely I myself am dealing with a lawsuit myself at the present time...AND HOLD YOUR TONGUE! Yea, I handed out a sexual harrassment charge a couple years ago for a couple perverts who tried to take off my towel when I got outta the shower... And its like, 10x worse in the military here... Court Martial and everything... LONG STORY!!! Anyway, I've heard stories that go both ways... a really good friend of mine got discharged for it last year, and he just slapped her behind, and she never said anything, until after... but yea.... again, long story... 😉

It was actually pretty terrifying for me... There was a restraining order, and it was broken... I went on a Port Security weekend in Kingston, ON, and one of the guys was working Duty that weekend, and he was around, and it totally freaked me out.. I saw him, and turned around and went into the bathroom and started hyperventilating... One of my guy friends came in after me and calmed me down... And then the next day, he was there again, and I spent the night pacing on the phone with my best-friend crying... It creeped me out to be on an un-guarded base, where this guy could easily find me... I spent the night NOT in my room... But yea... Creepyness... And they refused to make him go home... So yea, I was pissed/upset... Its all over now, but it still comes up sometimes... Everyone knows about it... News travels fast with that stuff.... Blah

There's a fine line between sexual harassment and flirting. If the guy is good looking and flirting, all good, but if he steps over a line that makes me feel uncomfortable (which if you know me, you know that would be hard to do), I will step up and take action.

I hate the fact that some men think it's OK to objectify women, whether their cute, ugly, black, white or purple. Sorry for the rant, but its definitely something I'd love to be rid of. I don't understand why some people feel the need to vocalize their sick thoughts to people. What do they expect to get out of it?
