Shape Shifting Illyria

In "The Girl In Question" Illyria tells Wes that she can "appear as I choose," Does that mean that she can morph into human forms other than Fred (i,e, Buffy, Cordelia, Connor, Jack the file clerk, etc,) or only that she can choose to appear as either Fred or Illyria?

To be honest, we don't know. We'd have to see in the comics but it was never made clear.

I got the impression she could look how she wanted, as long as the Fred 'shell was still incorperated. Like, she could have blonde hair, or purple skin or anything, but she'd still basically look like Fred. (Or Amy Acker in make-up! 😛)
