In Social Studies we were learning about Politics and had to divide into Political parties and have an election. This included making policies and speeches and posters and all of that. My party was probably one of the...most serious ones. We had fun with it and really thought about it. But, since some of us are kind of outcast-y we didn't expect to win.

However, I was away sick on Friday and after school I got a call from my friend Allyse telling me that we, and our leader, had won both categories in the election. It was shocking to me.
 
I'm having a better weekend than I thought I would after having my plans, yet again, canceled. I went to a creepy haunted house last night, me and my friend dressed up as a dead model and a zombie tonight, and tomorrow we're dressing up again to go Trick or Treating 😀
 
More happiness today. My bestest online guy friend just came online about ten minutes ago and we've been talking. I forgot how easy he was to talk to and how natural it feels. This guy actually almost committed suicide at one point this year so it's great to talk to him now. Now that he's better and all. And now we're roleplaying in a way that I haven't roleplayed in forever. I'm very happy.
 
I am really sad...but my happiness totally kicks my sadness in the butt! I have just realized just how blessed I am to have such amazing friends here on BB. Even though I can rely more on them than my real friends. Thank you guys for being a part of my life and becoming my family. Times are going to get rough, and I don't know if I am going to get out of this rut, but I have you guys to thank for your support and for making me feel like I have a shot. I love you all. <3

I am always happy when I am where I am right now at this moment. I mean physical location. The BB is a happy place for me too. Add to that the IWRY Marathon and I am one happy BBer/Bangel.
 
Some of you may remember that I've been worried about a friend with Cystic Fibrosis. But now she's got new lungs! Someone's family had the strength in the middle of their own shock and tragedy to say yes to organ donation, and that means that my friend will live. Live - not just hang in there refusing to die.

"Look to the living, love them and hold on." Indeed.

I don't know what it is, but i've been feeling really happy recently (well mostly)
It's almost too good to be true, i don't want to jinx it! It's like a 'i don't care' feeling!
I can't even explain it! 🙂
Plus i have awesome people in my life atm, that helps.

Oh and a certain girl on here made my day, made me laugh hysterically for about 5 minutes straight. :')

I'm glad that you feel happy.
I know I just met this guy and I shouldn't be all happy like this, but we have so much in common already! He's like... my twin, I swear. I didn't think I'd find another guy that I had so much in common like this after the last one. So, maybe that's why I'm so excited, lol.

Here's hoping for the best! 😀
 
Having time before starting my new job is amazing. I'm enjoying life for the first time in a long time, and feel more relaxed and like myself (and I'm starting to like myself). For the first time in about 6 or 7 years I've pulled out a sketch pad and started drawing. Yes, I'm pretty crap, but I'm loving it anyway! It's so nice just doing something artistic other than fan art.


I'm currently sat in my backyard, listening to Reel Big Fish, drinking some VB, smoking some Marlboro's and arting the afternoon away. Honestly, I finally feel optimistic, and understand that money really doesn't buy happiness.

And huge thanks to the person that convinced me to spend an afternoon doing this. Legend.
 
So my friend came home today for a bit. We went to the discount movie theater and saw Last Exorcism. Tomorrow, we're going back to see Inception. I love it when my friends come home. I have someone to talk to, something to do... I love you guys and I have this board to thank for my relatively new found confidence and positive outlook on life... but it's nice to have IRL friends present for a change.

I'm happy because for the first time in about a week, I don't feel overly tired. At the beginning of the week I felt really too tired to do anything. 🙁 But now I don't!

And I wrote some of my fic yesterday, got 3,000 words done bringing my total up to 31,000 words... and closer to the finish line! 🙂
