It's more being thankful than anything else. I may not be as active anymore but the work of the current, past and probably future staff will never be appriciated enough. BB sets the standard of internet forums so high that you have trouble finding anyone else that satisfies you enough.

So thanks for spoiling us all. :grouphug:

A little thankfulness is always good. And I agree.
So I'm finding it harder and harder for me to find inspiration for art making. Which kinda sucks. BUT!!! All those feelings go away. I woke up kinda sad today, and then I saw a picture of Amber Benson that I had never seen before, and I started looking through that album and now I'm all happy inside. I love her smile and her laugh, and her singing voice. She's always the one I go to for a pick me up...as weird as that may sound lmao
 
Well it looks like I'm off to a top notch Finnish music awards show in February, I couldn't help but say yes when asked if I wanted to go. Plus it will be a little after my birthday so another reason to go and celebrate with the Finnish music scene.
 
My friend just called me and told me she'd seen an episode of the Big Bang Theory and Sheldon tells "the origin of ketchup" to his friends.
Made us both laugh hysterically because I myself have told the story about the "origin of ketchup" to people before and to her just a few weeks ago. (Though mine was a longer rant ;P) - not sure it's a 'happiness' thing though... just kind of a testament to what font of useless information I am 🙂

Not really the thread for it but I'll keep it very brief -
so kecthup (in one of the theories at least) started out as a salty pickled fish sauce from China not all unlike soy sauce. It was brought from there by European seamen and started appearing in variations around Europe and the UK - ingredients like anchovies and mushroom were common and it started to appear in recipe books in the 1700s. (early 1700 it was coined as ketchup, previously and sometimes still known as catsup/catchup)

Not until the 1800s however did the tomato ketchup come into play and it started being manufactures and sold nationwide in he US. And from there it rolled I suppose (in late 1800 Heinz started making their still very popular ketchup)

Ketchup/catsup - not much difference really. But thanks to the Reagan administration ketchup was labeled a vegetable whereas catsup wasn't (later revoked but still catsup remains unpopular as a result).

So that's my geek-ness for the day.
And more happiness - new episode of Criminal Minds yay (though this new season is a bit off... )

Cool! I had red hair for a while. I dyed it myself so badly, that my dad didn't noticed and thought it was an illusion from my red shirt

Yay for another redhead-at-heart.
I just talked to my mom and she said she's trying to figure out how she can buy that house I REALLY like that's not far from my dad's AND she agreed a good Christmas present for me is to watch an episode of Buffy with me. I am so happy.

Just got back from watching Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows pt. 1. It was fantastic! 😀 Won't spoil anything. Just saying it was great!

best HP movie so far!
I feel so loved. I was sleeping last night and my significant other woke me up with a giant glass of juice and said, "I've only seen you drink that little glass of soda since we got home. Do you have any pills to take?"

Back story: I went to the hospital Monday night because of kidney stones and a kidney infection. My right kidney was swollen which is what caused me so much pain.

I'm blessed to be in the relationship I am. I get taken care of when I'm sick, support when I'm upset, and plenty of love! I'm very fortunate. I've been through some really crappy ones too.

My dad just had it, and I had gallbladder stones a few years ago and also had an infection in my pancreas because of that, it's terrible!
^OMG, I am too. I'm tired from the concert last night, but I'm definately seeing Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows today
 
I finally finished my fic! I've been working on this since the end of August and it's finally done.

So happy!

It's also the longest fic I've ever written at 40,241 words. There's still editing to be done so it might end up being shorter/longer, but right now I don't care because it's finished!
