sigh. A new start-up plans on launching a bunch of reflective satellites. The goal is to point and aim these satellites at their customers' houses to provide "sunshine" for their solar panels after dark. That doesn't sound very green.
 
Oh noooo hahahahha. I'd rather they put the solar panels up in space and I will live quite happily in the partial shade of them.
 
I don't think we need any other light sources in space for global warming! Anyway, if solar panels are working effectively, I thought they would be able to store energy for nighttime?

There is a proposal to put a giant deflector in orbit to block the sun and cool the planet down. That seems like a million things could go wrong with it!
 
So, someone wants to build satellites that can focus the sun's energy on spots of the Earth?

Or, to put it another way, someone wants to build an Orbital Death Ray?
