It's been bugging me since I joined the board. Can someone tell me what-on-earth is a shipper (as in "Spike /Buffy" shipper)? It seems to me to be someone who is strongly in favour of the people mentioned having a romantic relationship - am I right? And what is the point? Surely the relationships will pan out as Joss and the writers intend anyway? Is this an American thing or am I just too old?
