Has anyone heard of these? Worn them? Among certain occupations they are almost looked at as part of the uniform. I was wondering if anyone on this here forum has any experience at all with them.

I had to wear them back when I was waitress. They are ugly and honestly didn't seem to be any better quality than any other slip resistant shoes. I ended up buying the Payless version as replacements after a while, and they were like half the price, just a good, and just as ugly.

So you would not buy if you had a choice?
We're they comfortable?
You mentioned they were ugly- if I were to show you some shoes would you say if they looked better or worse than SfC

Probably not, they just didn't seem any better than cheaper versions. They were comfortable enough.

Show me the shoes and I'll judge.

The thing with the nonslip shoes is that you can tell they are nonslip work shoes. They don't look as normal as they photograph, which probably doesn't bother everyone but to me they seem to have a slightly different shine to the shoes and are often a little bulky looking.
