"Shoot me, stuff me, mount me"

I was watching "The Pack", and Xander's final words baffled me. Is there anyone who can figure out why Xander said "Shoot me, stuff me, mount me" after Giles admitted he knew Xander hadn't lost his memory?

I think it is implying that he's an animal, or remembers it. It seems to imply that he is hunted game, like deer. I think he's also saying that Giles has "control" over him because he knows.

Well I presume its a taxedormy referrence but the reason for it I dont know.

I'm assuming because that's what a hunter would do to a wild animal such as a hyena. And after being caught in the lie by Giles, and remembering all the evil things he had done, he probably felt that's what he deserved.

Yup, he was making a reference that said..."I'm soooo busted!" It's one of my faves!
