Should Buffy had sympathized with Rona more in Season 7?

I realize S7 wasn't the time for pleasantries but does anyone else besides me think Rona and Buffy should have had a friendship of some sort? I mean Rona and Buffy had something in common. They both rejected the Slayer responsiblity. Both were terrified their first time as a potential Slayer. I get Rona was a major douche to Buffy after her first episode, but Rona and Buffy should have had some sort of a friendship since they both rejected the Slayer powers at first.

Rona was terrified when she first appeared because she was trapped and about to be gutted by Bringers before she ever made it to Buffy's house. Buffy saved her and there was no mistake - she wouldn't have survived without Buffy. All of the potentials were terrified and Rona was not against slayer power because she didn't have it until the last episode. Rona didn't like the idea that slayers were necessary and in that sense she was just like all the other potentials except Kennedy.

Also, Rona was an alpha personality as was Buffy so I don't think they would have gotten along that well. There can only be one alpha in a relationship.

After S7, Rona was in charge of recruiting volunteering slayers to be Buffy decoys. That's very deep mutual friendship/trust.

I mean, other slayers, even those with most screentime/pagespace, such as Kennedy, Satsu, Leah, Rowena, didn't get to do this job. That means something.
