I know I made a thread like this about Buffy but I was just thinking whilst watching Five by Five if it would have been cool to see Faith join Angel for the last few episodes of his show...I mean the six episodes she was in did well and she was a big character in Buffy. I could have seen her, Angel and Conor fight along side each other in the final fight.

What do you think?

Faith was the only Character that belonged, in my mind, to both shows equally(even though she was in Buffy more)...having said that, no she shouldn't have been in the final fight.
Angel was sure that this was the endof him and everyone with him.......I think he would have believed Faith had more to do in the world.......
I think SHE could have been in TGIQ or maybe even Damage....but the Finale......everyone who should have been there was there(not including the people who were dead...Cordy should have but thats a different issue)

I agree completely about Cordy.
Well to me, it seem as if Faith belonged to Angel more than Buffy. Mostly because they could relate. Angel, was like the rejects of Buffy. The way we feel at times. Maybe thats why I can relate to Angel more than Buffy.

I'm not sure, might have been a bit strange having her just turn up all of a sudden for the finale.

She would have been a good addition to the season though, she always is! After the main character slaughter of season 5* she would have been very welcome as a new main character in season 6.

*I'm referring to the deaths of Cordelia, Wesley, Fred and Lindsey, plus the likely death of Gunn. That's a lot of deaths for 1 season!

i would have liked to have seen Faith at some point in S5, but i don't think she should have been in the finale. it was about the end of Angel, and i those people in the alley were the only ones who should have been there.*

*With added factors of Cordy and Wes...i hate the fact thay they weren't there to see the end!!

I think she would've been great if she was in the final fight! On a similar path to angel and spike, to redemption. It could've been quite nice.

But I agree that it would have been a bit strange for her just to pop up and appear. I think she would've been great if she was in the entire season 5. could've seen her and Gunn get it together perhaps...maybe not.

Hmm...even though Faith is one of my very favorite characters, I don't think she belonged in the finale. Introducing her into the NFA storyline may have taken away from everything else that was going on. But it would've been cool for her to appear in a few episodes earlier on in the season!

I personally think that Faith should have been around for the majority of season five. Given what the Scoobies believed about Angel and his team it seemed very strange to me that she of all of them didn't turn up in LA to find out exactly what was going on.

I think that it's a shame that Faith wasn't used as a recurring character at the very least, although as we all know Eliza was tied to Tru Snoring ... sorry ... Tru Calling at that time.

As for the finale, i think it would have seemed a little forced to have her turn up just for the last episode but if she had been used as i just suggested then i would have been more than happy to have seen her at Angel's side at the end and i know that Faith would have chosen to be there, if given the option.

I really don't think Faith should have been in the finale. She was in ATS because like Angel she wanted to be redeemed and for to be redeemed she had to be in BTVS with Scooby Gang and that's what she did in the end.

I think the closure we got with her character was enough in BtVS ...she redeemed herself and fought a good battle and to bring her back to fight another huge season finale battle would have been a little tired in my opinion.

Exactly and i also find it strange that the scoobies believed what they believed about Angel and never showed up to help him.

Doesn't really bother me that Faith wasn't in the finale. I'd like to see her in any spinoff of ATS though.

Oh and as long as were daydreaming about characters turning up in the alley to help Angel - Faith and Dana. 🙂

Surely the people who thought faith had redeemed herself in buffy know that redemption is never complete!

Spike saved the world in chosen. He hasnt redeemed himsef for his killings. Hes just done a good deed. (a great deed I should say) and angel new that he could never acheive redemption and fought the neverending battle ect. I think Faith should've joined them knowing she was on the same path. To death really. The only way she can be redeemed.

Thats my opinion neways.

(Not sure if I explained it that wel)

Faith, Spike and Angel had all redeemed themselves in my opinion.

I wouldn't have objected to seeing Faith join the final battle but like I said before I think the closure we got with her character in BtVS was good enough.

Yeah really, with the ranks of vampire slayers having been swollen since "Chosen", you think some of them could have shown up in the alley to help out Angel's gang! Faith especially-with the gratitude she felt toward Angel. Of course as Andrew himself said, nobody on their side, probably not even Buffy, trusted his gang anyway, they having become employees of W&H.

It's just my opinion but I thought that by the last two or three seasons the worlds of Buffy and Angel were no longer meshing very well (have to discuss the amulet sometime!) Nevertheless I thought that Faith as a crossover character was very consistent between the two shows.

Well i never eally liked that attitude towards Angel ,that's no excuse for leaving them, and why did they not try to find out why he joined????

I agree she was very consistant so all the more reason teh have her in the finale.
