Earlier this week, we made a poll asking how many of you would like to see David Boreanaz"˜s (Booth) former Buffy love interest, Sarah Michelle Gellar, appear on an upcoming episode of Bones. The results were pretty conclusive! Take a look:

Should Sarah Michelle Gellar guest star on David Boreanaz's TV show?

- Almost 70% said, "Absolutely. I'd totally watch an Angel-Buffy reunion on Bones!"
- About 17% said, "Actually, I'd rather see SMG reunite with James Marsters (Spike)."
- Just over 9% said, "Can we do all three of these guest star appearances? I can't choose just one favorite."
- Only 4% said, "I'm all up for reliving the Buffy days, but let's have David guest star on Ringer, instead!"

Then, we came across an interview where Buffy and Angel vet Charisma Carpenter (Cordelia) said she'd be totally up for a Bones cameo. So what did Bones fans think of that proposition?

Would You Like to See Charisma Carpenter on Bones?

- The most votes, 39%, said "Yes, But Only Once. It Will Be Cute. Once."
- Coming in at a close second with 32%, was "Why Stop With Her? Bring the Whole Angel Cast In!"
- Over 17% said, "For Sure! I Love Her! Make Her a Regular!"
- Only 11% said, "Um, No. What Is This, Hollywood Squares? No More Guest Stars."

What do you guys think?

Even though i'm a huge Charisma and Cordelia fan I would prefer to see SMG. Mainly because they're relationship is one of the most iconic on television. Seeing James and David wouldn't be bad either, they had incredible chemistry in Angel season 5

I think it would be brilliant to see SMG alongside David again. Although I love the Cangel reunion possibilities Angel truly belongs to Buffy so it would be nice to see them together again. Perhaps as an ex girlfriend or something 😀

I don't watch Bones but I'd watch it just for a SMG/David reunion.

I recently saw Charisma and James in an episode together on Supernatural. It was cool seeing them again.

As much as I find the idea appealing I don't think I'd like it. It kind of feels like both SMG's and CC's names would overpower any kind of plotline ot performance etc on the show. It would just be a 'reunion' episode and it feels like their parts would be have to be made bigger than a regular side-character on that show which could feel forced.

I'd definately love to see SMG and CC on Bones. I love Bones and I'd love to see some BtVS characters on the show. I've enjoyed seeing some characters from BtVS on Supernatural.

Should they be on the show? No, not really. But it could be fun. Besides the "fun" factor there's no point in having them on the show. Don't get me wrong though, I like fun. Most of the time. I've enjoyed other Whedon reunions on other shows.

James, Charisma and last Sarah is how I rank them when it comes to who I want on the show.

Having a Buffy reunion on Psych would fit much better since they show is made of "fun". Like they did with Twin peaks. Not like it's going to happen.

I would like to see one but not both. A little wink toward a previous role is ok, but when there are constantly old costars coming to a new show, it feels weird and forced to me.

For some reason I'm against the idea. It's been a long time since any of them have filmed anything together and it's nice to see everyone carrying on their own success on different TV shows. I loved Charisma and James appearing on Supernatural but thats because they didn't act together much on Buffy and Angel. So for me its a no to both Charisma and SMG on Bones.

Well, Sarah did a cameo on her old soap opera during its last week on the air as a deluded patient who thought that she was being stalked by vampires, and she's done a few cameos and walk-ons before. I think something like that would be better than a major role in an episode. Maybe Booth bumps into an old girlfriend somewhere and has to explain to Bones why he broke up with her. "It was for the best, really. We couldn't be together, it was killing both of us..." then, at the end of the episode he says, "Aw, hell, once more wouldn't be the end the world," and meets her for dinner. Fade to black. Sarah could probably handle that without it interfering with her own shooting schedule, then maybe David could do something similar on "Ringer."

As for Charisma, I thought that I heard once that she was going to show up on "Castle" as one of his ex-wives, but that was awhile back, and I haven't heard anything about it since. (No Whedonverse connection, I know, but still a Joss connection)
