The Twilight universe is still there after the seed was broken. Now magic is back, it's hard not to think the possibility of the cat thingy coming back.

It's arguably stronger than Glory while making it the big bad again is beyond stupid. So can they at least mention how it can never be back in one sentence or something?

No, Twilight wanted to grab the seed to achieve full(er) existence. She(it?) sent zombie Angel to rob it in the ending of S8.

No reason why it doesn't want to steal the new seed other than that it got another seed in another dimension or something.

Well Buffy was "Buffy the Apocalypse Preventer" from S1.
The whole Twilight is stupid. Therefore they should make it gone for good instead of making it wandering out there. It's like leaving Ben alive or chasing the Mayor snake to another town then calling it a win.
