Buffy is over but it i still new in my heart. Who agrees they should be another Buffy movie? lol:fighting1:lmao:

I would love it if they did a Buffy movie... but I just have a feeling that it would be really hard to pull off successfully. Especially how the last season ended...

I think I'd be more comfortable with an Angel movie. It would be really nice to see the cast together again...

Either way, Id be happy as a little clam.

I would love to see a new movie (or a series, or a mini-series, or a direct to dvd movie) from the Buffy universe, but by this time, I think that a whole new cast would be better. With the situation as it now exists, literally hundreds of new Slayer teams scattered out all over the world, the possibilities for new stories is limitless, and there would be no need to depend on people who are either reluctant to reprise their old roles or are prevented from doing so because of other obligations.

I vote no. It's just been to long now.

It's similar to remakes, the posibility of something crap being made is just to likely.

Don't get me wrong, if they made a remake in any form (TV series, mini series or movie) I would be first in line to be watching it, but the fear beforehand of something that is so close to my heart being even averagely made would be to much for me! Even if it was well done it would likely still not get a good reception from critics and the general population.

So I vote no. Let Buffy rest in peace.

I would love to see a buffy movie, but i would be worried that they would make it too inclusive for people who are not into the buffyverse. I hear you say this is a good thing? maybe you think that it would get more people into bufffy.... but in turn it would mean the plot wouldn't have any major references to the past story line and it may just seem to us buffy fans like a rather large episode.., which wouldn't be bad, but i think a buffy movie should be more that that!

I don't think a Buffy movie would work, the first one didn't work and the animated series failed, so only the television show really worked.
I think Buffy finished at the best time possible, it did not get cancelled like many other shows and it went out on top, all of the fans were still there and the show was still good, the best thing that joss did was ending the show at the end of season 7 and continuing it in a comic book form. By continuing it in comic book he kept it alive but kept it as popular as the television show was.

I'm perfectly content without a movie. I'm glad it ended its tv run after 7 seasons. It seems like the perfect number...6 is too few, 8 is too many.

I'd say yes, but only if they didn't replace any cast members and if it didn't overite the events of season 8, I would be pretty annoyed if they did that considering how much money I've spent on season 8. I think that some kind of spin off is more likely than an actual Buffy movie, I just don't think they will get enough funding to really pull it off.

I don't know.
I'm not sure I want another Buffy movie. Not that I don't want more Buffy, and I DO love Joss. It's more that Joss doesn't seem to do as well with a 2 hour movie type spot. He's much better at the LONG drawn out story.
Granted, he didn't get a huge chance to do what he wanted with the first Buffy movie, but I loved Firefly and I didn't really like Serenity very much. I was happy to have a "wrap up" but it wasn't nearly as good as the show.
Maybe if he was given a Buffy Trilogy thing where he could move things along like Star Wars, I'd give it a chance.

What I'd like MORE is a spin off. Maybe Dawn and Connor or something like that. Perhaps not MORE Buffy, but a nice spin off that continues the story with lots of room for guest spots and fun crossovers.
