depends, if there are plans for a buffy/angel movie, it will lead into that
if the actors/creators make it clear they aren't making a film, i could see Angel averting the apocalypse, and waiting for his Shansu, but it never comes. The last thing you see is Angel on top of a building in LA, his job never done.

Id love for him to Shanshu and then he'd be with Buffy! but that never happens in Joss world so I dunno wot will prob happen would be him and Buffy realise they cant live without each other and then he prob dies to save the world.

I guess the shanshu thing, but first a battle against the senior partners, and Connor has to be back for it!
Dont you think that the whole 'Shanshu' thing would be a little too obvious, for Joss anyway.
I mean, Im not denying that, it would totally work, but I think maybe Joss wouldnt do that, he likes to shock the audience, just look at all the finales of Buffy!

I love Buffy and Spike together but even I can admit that the writers won't let it happen...I think that Angel will do real good and full fill that prophecy that he will redeem himself and become human again and then he and Buffy will run out into the world to start their life together. And as they fling open the doors to run into the beautiful day *POOF* Angel is dust and the Powers That Be will point and laugh. THE END
LOL j/k I think that they will end it with them together though. I just hope they give Spike something in the way of good as well. He deserves some happiness. Evil or not evil he was always loves bitch and always just wanted someone to love. He deserves that much.

One question...What the heck is a shansu???And also, i hope to death no matter what Buffy and Angel end up together...And honestly, i hope spikes chip thinggy gets taken out....I miss the big bad!And him and Dru...(unless something happened to dru) and yea...We can dream!

Here's a thought, he shanshu's in episode 21, which won't turn him human, but which will split him up, in the human soulled Angel and Angelus, episode 22 ... they fight!

Heh heh. Here's a thought. He gets split into two peeps like Allycat suggested. Angelus wastes Angel, tracks down and enfangs Buffy, and the two of them cut a swath of mayhem across Europe!
Nothing could stand in their way! At least until the angry mob catches up with them in Prague.

Wasn't sure where this should go so I guessed here.
With recent news that S5 will be last 🙂() how do you think it will end? Or do you have any ideas for how it should end.
I was thinking about it and I thought that in the one from last ep at some point maybe Lorne should receive an overwhelming reading from Angel that causes him to at least faint, possibly need hospitalisation for a while (imagine explaining the horns and skin to a doctor). Anyway, Lorne should tell Angel the final fight is coming up, the big one. Angel tells him to keep it a secret from the others until he can check it out, Lorne reluctantly agrees.
Later everyone bursts into Angel's office demanding to be told about the fight (Lorne blabbed). Angel explains that its the final fight, the one he will Shanshu from if he succeeds. Spike asks what the whole Shanshu thing is about (not sure if he knows as ive only seen up to 5.05) and then grumbles about how come Angel gets to Shanshu.
Anyway the final fight, dunno what it should be with or what but at some point Angel has to make the decision about whether to kill one of his allies, and Spike offers as so to speak. As much as Angel hates Spike he finds it hard to do but does, stops the apocalypse or whatever and Shanshus, but so does Spike for his bravery.
It would be a great little twist for them both to Shanshu, and I can just see Angel saying "I shanshued first" to Spike.
It would also be great to have Willow come for the final fight, as Sarah may not appear Willow would still be a strong force.
