Show Finale

I suppose Angel's as there will apparently be Buffy and Angel movies (would be good if they merged it and had two Buffy and Angel movies rather then seperate ones. Anyway tangent). If its THE final fight there would be nothing to do.
 
i dont think he should shanshu yet he should keep on fighting this is how i want to end: spike finally goes off to be with buffy and wes quits maybe cause he cant stand to work there anymore and then have gunn stay there but angel leaves and goes back to the hotel and starts all over again with a new investigation business
 
Joss knows it's the most likely the end, so it's gonna be BIG! I can't even begin to speculate about what he's gonna do... I just know it's gonna be awesome, but heartbreaking. THE final fight, or Angel's final fight, or neither...I have no idea...
 
Amendments for the finale?

From Joss' comments I'm tending to think he's fed up with TV executives and has caved. If this is so then the end of Angel will be 5x22. I know that episode 18 began filming on last week. That gives the writers 4 episodes to fling everything together. Its simply not enough room for wriggle. The whole robot thread which was more than likely to be ongoing into season 6 will probably end up being the essence of the finale. Lindsay is sure to enter the fray aswell. And I guess even if they hadn't planned eve's return so soon she must reappear now. There's way too much to resolve. I was hoping something was going to slowly develop for Gunn what with his slip up last episode.
As for specualtion about 'the first' that would be so totally lame. I hope that's totally wrong.
Why does the world of TV bite so damn much? To think that Roswell got renewed because of tobasco sauce and some execs kid liking it. It only came back for one more season. I think if we all take an interest (see the 'why we fight' thread) we can get at least 12 more episodes.
So will Joss wrap it up nicely? I hope not to be honest. There should be no shanshu in the season 5 finale. It would be too rushed and not epic enough for the plot laying so far. I know that in some way or other Angel will return. Whether it be in a film with Buffy or in a TV movie thing. But mostly I hope for season 6 decision reversal by WB or on another network.

hopefully there will be movies if they is Joss will prob leave it open with like the BIG fight in the movie...and they could hav all the characters from the show fightin in this big fight..Angel shanshu and gets to be wi Buffy 😀 and Spike will hopefully hav sum1 else..
 
How Should it End?

Someone was going to say it sooner or later, so I thought I'd be the first.
 
Buffy isn't going to come back,so I think Angel and Spike should hook up,..I know it is not going to happen,but it should!
 
This totally sucks man...

I wanted to post this as a poll, but with the new boards you have to get the poll questions in, within 5 minutes of 1st click, or they won't be added to the topic.

Here are the questions that would have been on the poll.

1. Buffy should make a final appearance. They should resolve all questions in the Buffy/Angelverse.

2. The entire Angelverse is too large. They should concentrate on resolving Angel Season 5.

3. It shouldn't End. It should go to another network, or they should leave the characters as they are for a future movie, or miniseries.
 
I can't choose between It shouldn't End. It should go to another network and Buffy should make a final appearance.

I think the show should continue for a couple of years... and Buffy should come back and enp up with Angel

I'd like to see them combine a seasonal-arc wrap up with a nice wrap-up for the characters, much like they did with the finales of Buffy seasons 5 and 6. Either one of those seasons would have been a legitimate and satisfying ending for the series, without devolving into a bunch of tacky drivel about the future lives of the characters: She married her undead prince, had two children (thanks to a generous "donation" from trusty Xander) and became a demon-killing soccer mom in the suburbs of Buffalo

Wrap them up, don't betray the characters to give them all happy endings. Kill one or two of them off just to remind us all why we love Joss (sorry, Gunn...buh-bye) and leave it up in the air as to which vamp fulfills the prophecy and gets to be a real boy.
 
lol... I have that problem. I get sad when James and David says that Spike and Angel will never get together. 🙁

I don't think it should end but if it has too i'd rather that everything got wrapped up then it was just left w/ things unsolves and things like that
 
I'll go with whatever Joss has in mind. Then again I'll have to!

Shanshu/Buffy is out of the question... grr, I'll get you for this Gellar, then again maybe it'd be too sweet and all... anyway shanshu is for the real end, and this isn't! (Always the optimist)

I want Wes and Fred to end up together. I want Angel and Connor to hapily reunite, and I want Spike and Angel to become friends. And I want the gang to split up. And I want them to kill a frog in the final episode!

Big Fang Gang Death in the final episode should be .... Gunn.

But another network should be great!
 
Of course it shouldn't end but I think the WB should give it one more season. That would be all it would need to tie up the loose ends and get Bangel together!
 
I don't think they should try and wrap EVERYTHING up. Maybe put some closure on Fred/Wes/Gunn thing but leave a fair bit up in the air.
