Show Finale

After reading Allycat's post, I think that I'd be satisfied so long as they killed a frog... Everything else is soo trivial.

Really though, I'd like to see some resolution, doesn't have to be big, can just be Angel comming to terms and resigning himself to the fact that certain things are the way they are... Just enough to leave me satisfied, but still able to consider and think about other possibilities. Also, i think that someone should die.

there needs to be so much closure.... that we'd need twelve hours to do it! If anything ends without closure... I'll freak out. Because we won't get the answers from anywhere, unless there is a movie (which probably isn't going to happen... because there isn't going to be a lot of profit for it... just us Buffy freaks!)

but darn it.... I'm not sure though if I want it to go to a new network. I remember everybody complaining when Buffy jumped to UPN... the show changed... and I don't want to hear people complain about Angel changing. But I'm not sure if I want it to end either, because I can't live off reruns alone! I'd go insane.

I'm going to be so very unpopular for this, but I always thought Angel should loose his soul and get staked.

I recently watched "That Old Gang of Mine" where Gunn says, "I think I proved that you can trust me when I didn't kill you." and Angel replied, "No, I'll know I can trust you when you have to kill me and you do." Don't get me wrong, I like Angel the vampire and adore Angel the show, but I really think it would be powerful if the fang gang had to do the hardest thing in the world: Kill the alter-ego of their leader to save the world. It would be difficult for us viewers, but it would be true to the show, I think, and ultimately, it would be what Angel would want.

But I don't think Joss will do it. I think all the ships to be left open. That way we can all use our imagination to end the questions the way we like best.

After all, Willow's in Istanbul, blue haired.

I do like your idea though. How amazing would it be if Angel was the big bad for the shows final season?

Yikes! I never thought about that.

That would be very strange... but perhaps fitting. It would be sad because Angel would be gone.... but it would be interesting to have Angel staked to save the world.

I don't think it would go over to well with fans... and the ships will be left open for everyone to ponder who ended up with who... there will be no closure probably... just because I want it.

Forget how its gonna end.....I don't want it to end, not yet.
There are still so many things to do and stories to tell, this show has
definitely not reached the pinnacle as of yet.
I am hoping, every day since I heard the news, that some other network will pick it up and that Joss will still have the creative freedom he needs to produce a quality show.

I agree, but sadly the pessimist in me is doubtful...but hey, I'm not gonna say how it's gonna end, because I'm hoping it's gonna continue...

There are so many more stories that can be told there....but if this is the end...I don't know how it's gonna go down, but I know Joss will make it good...although it's probably going to be very open-ended. We probably won't get much closure on...well...anything.

I think Sarah should come back and be the one to convince Angel to destroy W&H from the inside. But W&H get wise to him and the SP come after him. In the begining of the 3rd to last ep the SPs turn Angel evil, and Angel and the SPs kill Spike, Gunn, and Wesley. Then at the end of the 3rd episode from the end (right after the battle that killed them.), the PTB, and Faith come to help Buffy and Fred in their fight. in the 2nd episode to the end Buffy dies. In the last episode somehow Fred kills Angel, the SP kills Fred, and there is a gallactic battle between the PTBs and the SPs, and in the last shot, we see Angel, Buffy, Joyce, Kendra, Jenny, Tara, Gunn, Fred, Wesley, Cordy, etc. sitting around having fun, playing games. Buffy is on Angel's lap feeding him strawberrys, and they're all in a cloudy place and they are all laughing and having a good time... I don't think it will be that happy of an ending though... but please god let it be...

Talk about climax!
I like the last camera shot idea. I think that would be really nice. Or something along those lines. Like, how you put it, in a cloudy place and having a good time. Or a dream, having everyone in it. Sorta like at the end of Black Beauty.........

If Angel is not picked up by it's final episode, Joss hopes it will once the final episode airs, he is going to make it so huge so it gets a big impact so then a network picks it up! I can see a few deaths occuring!

Blue haired... Haha! Diminished_9th, I love you.

Imagine how amazing Joss would make the episode in which Angel dies for real. I'm all for it.

I think Wes/Fred shippers are pretty lucky, though, because it looks as if they'll be together when it ends. If the series would've went on longer, Wes and Fred would eventually break up because that's what would have to happen to perserve the drama.

And a Faith return would be nice.🙂

My guess is that they will take care of all the questions that need to be answered for this season and maybe some closure on the "Connor" situation. But besides that, I see them just making the decision to leave with the group staying at Wolfram and Hart at the end of the series. Least we know where everyone will be at. But this so sucks

Yes, it will be big! Very very big! Hopefully it will help make someone want to pick it up. Death? YAY! Unless it's a character I like, then not so yay.

It would be a great little twist for them both to Shanshu, and I can just see Angel saying "I shanshued first" to Spike.

Yes I can so see that! And if Buffy's there:

Angel: I shanshued first!
Buffy: What are you twelve!
Angel: At least I don't use cookie dough analogies!
Spike: What are...
Angel: Shut up, Spike! (goes to leave but turns around at the door) I still shanshued first!

Ok, maybe not....

Actually...I think the "I shanshued first" idea is hilarious...
However, I would rather not have Angel shanshu...I don't want him to die either...
I think Angel should destryoy W&H....and Gunn should be an opposing force...it would be cool if Lilah showed up...to back up Angel...and not Gunn...
It would be funny to see Harm freaking out over the W&H destruction...
I could see her being all like...
"Boy, you better start up AI again so I can get a paycheck! Are you gonna leave a poor working girl like me on the streets? Oh, and you will have dental, right?"

Heh heh, everybody seems to be forgetting about Harm!

Ok... this would be very weird, but at the like the last 10 minutes of the final espiode, we zoom in seeing Angel waking up in Whatever Hotel and learn that they didn't take the job at W/H and tricked the SP to give Connor a better life with them, AI. So, he walks downstairs to a couple (Fred and Wesley) with Gunn playing with the knifes, and Lorne just being Lorne. Well, the last talking scene with Angel and the gang are talking and he tells them about the weird dream he had. Now the last shot is Connor walking up to Angel and they walk out in the wonderful LA sun. Angel shanshued.

Or to add a little cliff ending, Angel wakes up after a major week of fighting the SP and reconnecting with the PTBs, he started to think about and talks with the gang what to do with the LA branch of W/H. Since they are leaving forever and reopening good ole AI. So, the last and final shot is the next night where Angel, Fred (they found away to bring her back), Wesley, Gunn, Spike, and Lorne walking out of the W/H in slow-mo. The last words are, "We help the helpless, again." And the gang says, "Yeah, AGAIN." They laugh.

In cheese subtitles they will say that Spike and Harmony fell in love and enjoy working with AI. The Shanshu was ending up to be proven false after Willow proved it wrong with a little help with the PTB, but she did some reseach and learn that she could delete the whole happiness problem with Angel's soul. So, now Angel's soul is his to keep forever. Buffy and Angel never got back together and remain friends forever. The End. 🙂

Did any of these make sense?

Ayumi: Your second ending should have the theme from "Breakfast Club" playing at the end. You know, "Don't you forget about me." And then they can walk off with your subtitles for each character, I would have it go something like this:

Lorne Started his own latenight talk show on The WB, it was cancelled after five seasons. He is now currently dating Janet Jackson.

Harmony regained her soul, then lost it again. She prefers to be called Harmonus now.

Wesley and Fred live happily ever after in a ranch in Texas where Wesley teaches classes on how to grow manly stubble, but still be cool. Fred is now a kindergarden teacher.

Spike never visited Buffy in Europe, instead he went to Las Vegas to fight demons and start his own casino called "The Big Bad"

Angel never did shanshue, but he now resides with his son Connor and Connor's wife Dawn.

Then walk off and lift their fists in the air all "Judd Nelson" style as the music kicks in even louder.

Angel should kill all the Senior Partners. Then Tinkerbell comes out of nowhere and tells Angel she will make him human. There is a blinding white flash and when everything is clear we see Angel sleeping at McDonalds dressed in the McDonalds outfit.

"HEY LIAM YOU SLOB! WAKE UP!"

Angel wakes up and sees Buffy (she is in a McDonalds outfit too).

"Stop falling asleep on the job. Your supposed to be cleaning the toilets. Also your mum called and said to eat here before you come home because she isnt cooking tonight."

"Yes miss"

Liam then gets up and picks up a wet cloth and a bucket. He heads off to the toilet humming the Angel theme. It turns out that Buffy and Angel was just dreamed by an underachieving slob who works at Mcdonalds and still lives with his mum.

Now that is the perfect ending.
