Scrubs, I think the show started getting worse in season 5 but I still watched it.

I have a feeling that this season may get back to the House that we all know in love. Then again, I am a House addict and I will continue to watch it until it ends. But yeah, the ending feels like House is finally back.

I don't think it will be the same without Cuddy. I'm still going to watch the show because it's one of my favorites, but I don't think we'll see the same show or character without Cuddy.

Idk about the lack of Cuddyness. It will be interesting to see them explain her absence. I am hoping we get to see House break in a new dean of medicine. That could be entertaining.

I watched The O.C. right up until the end, even though it went downhill pretty consistently from Season 1. The episodes without Marissa were just horrible.

I loved Marissa along with Marissa/Ryan but I found the fourth season to be very light and good at the same time. The OC to me will always be a bit better than OTH because it ended on a high plus I think it may have been a bit better in general need to re-watch the two.

One Tree Hill I kind of strongly dislike the show at times. I would abandon it but I would rather watch it on tv than rush to buy the later seasons. Plus for some reason I have to see how a show ends no matter how dumb it can get at times. The show used to be really good though it is not even that Lucas/Peyton left I just don't really love the new characters. Plus Mark can't seem to come up with new ideas..

Gilmore Girls I went into that show thinking it would be an easy favorite and left it being one of my least favorites of most of my shows. I liked the characters loved Dean/Rory but once Jess was introduced it went kind of downhill for me. Lorelai also got on my nerves a lot even though overall I do like her.

There are probably more but I can't think of them at the moment.

I continued to watch The X-Files even after Robert Patrick and Annabeth Gish were brought on, and I still watch Chuck even though it's not quite as good as the first two seasons. Ditto on Heroes, and I stuck with Smallville even though I felt that some of the later seasons (especially 8 and 9) were lacking.

I hate season 5 with all my heart, and this is coming from a girl who's rewatching it for about 5th time this summer. I've been obsessing with the show, and I forgot how awesome it is. But season 5.. my God.. all that Joey/Dawson crap all over again.. and first half of season 6 probably sucked big time too.. but I have to say that Clean and Sober is one of funniest episodes in the show. And the ending.. ah, I love the ending.

The only redeeming features, as far as I'm concerned, are Joey's singing and Busy Phillips. They literally repeated all of the Joey/Dawson storylines from earlier seasons, and condensed them down to fit into Season 5.

"The L Word" definitely jumped the shark in their last season, but I kept watching because it was the last season and I wanted to see where the characters ended up.

Exactly. For the whole season 5 I was thinking "WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS TO ME?".. and the beginning of season 6, the first two episodes.. for God's sake, I think I'm gonna puke.

What also makes season 5 kinda watchable is CMM. He's kinda hot.

Joey is my second favorite character, but she's so more likeable when Dawson is not around.

I don't personally agree with this so much. I actually really like the later seasons of DC even if I prefer the earlier ones. The Dawson/Joey dance didn't finish with high school, so I don't think it was so much a literal repeat of what had happened previously, but how that now played into their adult lives and emotions. Their lives were very different and for nearly all of the characters we saw how their relationships adapted because of it. The Dawson/Joey stuff was much more intense and went further than it did previously; there were similar things going on with Jack/Jen and Pacey, but they were all more intense than they had been during high school.

I know you don't like Dawson, but I don't think there is a huge amount of difference between who she is around certain people apart from tending to do crazier things around the likes of Pacey and Charlie; she's more inhibited around Dawson, but she doesn't lose the qualities that define her.

Tis the way I see those later seasons and characters, anywho.

Back on topic, I've struggled with One Tree Hill, which has been really hard. I could deal with LP leaving (no, really, I could 😛) but I've found them to be repeating a lot of storylines and they did something HORRIBLE with Julian's masculinity!

Did they though? I mean they certainly opened him up and made him dorkier, but I don't think for a second that he is somehow less male or masculine for that. I definitely don't view him as effeminate.

I hate how she tells Pacey all these wonderful things, but then hides them from the world, and especially from Dawson. Only because she doesn't want to hurt him. And sometimes, we have to be selfish, and for once I would like to see her putting Pacey before Dawson. If Dawson never gave her the "permission" to go after Pacey, she probably never would. And that bugs me, why does she needs his permission? I know she loves Dawson very much, but if she loved Pacey as much as she claimed, she should've stand up for herself and for her feelings, like she did in the end of season 2, even if that meant loosing Dawson. It's not about how much I don't like Dawson, it's about how in my eyes, he makes Joey not as good as when she's with Pacey. Or with Jack. Or with someone else. I don't know where you stand on couples of DC, but something tells me you don't ship Pacey and Joey. Because I do, and we intend to like different couples 😛

He's NOTHING like he was in S6; no charm, no arrogance or cockiness. There is no way that Peyton would have been with that version of Julian. They made him Mr Brooke. So it's not necessarily that he is effeminate but he's not even a shadow of his S6 self.

In all honesty, no I'm still heartbroken lol. Like I really, really miss them. They're my OTP! What I meant was, I'm not just struggling with OTH because they left. It's a part of it but not the whole reason. But it is hard to stick with a show when your favourite character and couple leave!

For me, I have always viewed Julian as the male Brooke, meaning that he puts on a big front but really he is quite fragile behind it all. And I felt like in meeting Brooke he finally found someone with whom he didn't need the act anymore, because they got what it was like to feel the way he feels. And vice versa.

I remember the time when I liked Dawson. Yes, that time existed.
Oh, Joey and Eddie were cute.. but you know, once again, he was the guy that Joey left Pacey for, so I can't really say I adore the guy. But as a character, he was awesome, and he and Joey did seem to click. I guess I love Pacey and Joey together because for the first time in my life I realized that your soulmate doesn't have to be the person you end up with. Your soulmate doesn't have to be your true love. And I'm kinda loving that new discovery. I know I'm grateful to some unearthly forces that made Kevin change his opinion and rewrite the ending from D/J to P/J ending.

What I miss the most about them two leaving is Lucas/Haley friendship. I really liked them. I can't stay I miss Brooke/Peyton friendship, cause I've always loved more Brooke/Haley friendship.

Have you noticed how Joey is always drunk around Pacey. First at the time when they were at a party and he saved her from that jerk, then in Future Tense when he had to carry her and now in Clean and Sober. 😀

First that comes to mind would be Smallville. I stopped but got back "just" to have watched it all.

The West Wing. My favourite show so it might sound a bit strange but it had a real dip in form. But on the other hand when it was good it was absolutely amazing so you can see that in different ways I guess. It got better again and I love this show so much.

24. Some seasons weren't that great but since it got better again I watched everything and own most seasons on dvd.

Lost. Why did I bother? Could and wanted to stop watching but I always continued. I know some love the show and some of it I really enjoyed but I'm sure I'd been better off not watching most of it.

The Office. It is no where near as funny as it was the first couple seasons but I can't stop watching it. I can't help it, I am in love with Jim Halpert! 😀

+ 1. Not with being in love with Jim but he sure was one of the main reasons to continue watching. The fact that I thought Jenna Fisher is a Firefly fan helped too. Such a silly reason.

Weeds: I don't think it actually jumped the shark at any point, but there was a rapid decline in quality from seasons 4-6, (6 being the worst).
But things are really picking up in season 7! If you were a fan before, I suggest reading some summaries to catch yourself up and then getting back into the show!
